Rose was the top shooter at the camp. Look up textbook in the dictionary, and you will see a photo of Rose’s jumper. He gets his shoot off quickly, complete with one of the prettiest releases in the state. What’s going to have him rising is his new found playmaking ability, as he used the threat of shot, to get by defenders.

Rose has a chance to be a scholarship athlete. He shoots the ball at a high level, and does it from a varitety of ways. Rose was impressive coming off screens, and managed to use his threat of shot to knock down a few 1 and 2 dribble pull ups. The high academic player has a chance to be one of the top players in 3A moving into the season.

Rose is on my agenda to view at least a couple more times before the start of the season. I like his offensive skill set, but it’s his competitiveness that has me intriguied. The Eagles should be good again this season, as I expect Rose to lead the way. It’s simply a matter of how long before this sleeper is a household name.
