CFCA Team Camp: Class of 2020 & 2021 Standouts
New Life Christian 2020 Forward Reggie Raynor: He’s slowly but surely catching the eye of more people the more he plays, he’s been on a mission this spring with RAID Nation on the Powerade Circuit and looking to do the same this high school season. He showed his ability to knock down the outside shot as well as get into the paint consistently, as long as he stays aggressive he is dangerous.
Phoebus HS 2021 Guard Shakir Dawan: Another young player with a lot of potential, in their second game of the night we got the opportunity to see play extended minutes and he performed well. He’s a quick guard that is still learning the system but over time we fully expect him to fit right in for this team
Phoebus HS 2020 Wing Coreon Jackson: You have to love the potential in this young man, at 6’1 and only a sophomore you can see how good he can possibly be in the future. He has a quick first step that he uses to get by defenders offensively and on defense he uses that same quickness to force turnovers and contain his man.
New Life Christian 2020 Daquan Chambers: He’s an under the radar prospect at this point but he has some of the tools that colleges love, he has a nice solid frame and impressive athletic ability to make plays above the rim.
New Life Christian 2020 Guard Alijah Miles: A high energy guard that provided a spark for the Monarchs when he entered the game off the bench. He’s a quick player that applies constant pressure and is all over the court when he plays, every team needs a spark plug, and Alijah can be that guy.
Cape Fear Christian 2021 Guard Emmanuel Sepulved: We have spoken about him before and we were excited to see him play once again, although he didn’t have his best performance he still showed flashes of how good he can be. He brings effort and energy and made difficult passes over taller and older opponents while facing intense defense.
New Life Christian 2021 Jovon Harbin: Jovon didn’t play a ton of minutes due to him being injured but we love his potential, he can score the ball well and as he gets older he’s only going to get better.
