Sherrell McCullum Jr. Sherrell McCullum Jr. 6'6" | PF Garfield | 2023 State WA | Seattle Rotary
McCullum Jr. is a player ready to go at the next level. With his size, strength, and hunger in the paint, he can plug in and play solid energy minutes inside. He’s used to either starting or coming off of the bench and doesn’t seem to change his approach either way. He wasn’t challenged very often in the high school season, so this will be a key proving ground for him to show he’s capable of taking on more talented posts.
Will Landram Will Landram 6'6" | SF Gig Harbor | 2023 State WA | FOH Seattle
This is a guy that can fill any number of roles for his team. He’s a next-level defender with a long wingspan and good leaping ability, but he’s also a multi-dimensional weapon on offense, knocking down 3-pointers and skying high to finish strong at the rim.
Grey Garrison Grey Garrison 6'5" | PF Sehome | 2023 State WA | FOH Seattle
Garrison has been a steady improver since last spring and really has developed into a three-and-D option who can draw defenders out to the perimeter and also provide a strong body to defend in the paint. His shooting will be a huge asset at the next level, but his underrated strength and athleticism will help him chip in boards and blocks as well.
Joaquin Robideau Joaquin Robideau 6'5" | SF Rainier Beach | 2023 WA | EBC Elite
Robideau should get a big opportunity to show his skills this spring for a team that will count on his toughness inside. He’s only 6-foot-5 but he is a strong kid with a good base, and he has shown the ability to hit the mid-range shot and even step out to three on occasion.
David Zachman David Zachman 6'5" | SF Arlington | 2023 State WA | D1 Elite
Zachman is the lone 2023 on this D1 Elite squad but he is the type of player that can anchor a team with his steady play. He did that at the state tournament, showing huge growth as a leader and the type of player that can be counted on mentally to always be locked in. He’s a guy I have continued to get higher and higher on and should have a strong summer as he continues to build momentum.
Maverick Sanders Maverick Sanders 6'5" | SF Mt Spokane | 2023 State WA | Spokane Flight
One of the highest-rated forwards in his class, Sanders has a skill set that allows him to be deployed in multiple ways. He can set up on the high post and have the offense run through him. He can play off the ball and clean up on the offensive glass or find lanes to cut to the hoop and finish with strength. But he also has a good enough shot from three to space the floor or play in the pick-and-pop. He is a high-motor player that teams up with a talented Spokane Flight team.
Seth Horn Seth Horn 6'8" | PF Northwest | 2023 State WA | Beauchamp Elite 3SSB
The Northwest big man is taking another opportunity to play against tougher competition than he saw in the 1A, particularly against more skilled and bigger frontcourt players. He has the size to compete and has shown some innate talent inside with the ball. Consistency will be key for Horn, but also using his ball skills on the face up could help differentiate him from the pack.
Dace Pleasant Dace Pleasant 6'6" | SG Elite Prep | 2024 State WA | Beauchamp Elite 3SSB
Pleasant is another guy that has been steadily climbing this year. He had a great season as one of the top scorers for one of the top 4A teams but also lit it up on the biggest stage with a strong state tournament. He will open some eyes this year as a tough shot-maker and someone who is willing to take on big moments and come through in the clutch.
Cooper Aitken Cooper Aitken 6'7" | SF Spanaway Lake | 2023 State WA | NW Greyhounds
This big is an exceptional athlete who should regularly put up double-double stat lines this spring. The Greyhounds love to run and gun, and with Aitken’s athleticism and size, he should be able to collect a lot of rebounds as well as run in transition and show off his forceful finishing at the rim. He’s been getting better from the mid-range and could look to show that off this AAU season.
