Young does a great job of changing speeds and racing by defenders at times. Sharron brings constant hustle to the floor for the Mohigans. Young showed a nice mid-range pull-up game today.
Sharron attacked the gaps and really did a good job of setting up his teammates with open looks. He connected on a few runners in the lane when he wasn’t dishing out assists. Young can really stuff a stat sheet with his play. He recorded 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists today.
Highlights
Maxwell brings big-time versatility to the floor with his game. Ammar is extremely agile and long with his play. He would collect the rebound on the defensive end of the floor and bring the ball up in transition. Maxwell had several coast to coast moves today in a opening round win over Hampshire HS.
He has the ability to play-inside out at times but at times he can really create mismatches with his length. Ammar averaged a double-double this season for the Tigers.
Dobbs is a bit of a thick guard who can really bully defenders on the way to the rack. Zycheus really absorbs contact well and finishes drives on a regular basis. Dobbs takes high percentage shots and makes the most out of it with quality production. He’s not a shot taker but, a shot maker.
Zycheus finished with 24 points in a easy opening round victory over North Marion HS.
Blevins brings good versatility to the floor for the Tigers. Zion has a slender build and some good quicks on the floor. He moves well from side to side and end to end with his play.
Zion connected on some short jumpers and showed very good athleticism while covering a lot of ground on the floor. Blevins is a long and skilled forward with a good motor. He really does a nice job of hitting the glass on both ends. Zion is a above average passer from the high post at times.
Turner is very effective on the floor for the Irish. He helped them to an opening round victory over South Harrison HS 46-30. Jayallen led the way with 18 points. Turner has a quick set of hands to be disruptive in the passing lanes.
Allen picked his spots to be productive today. Turner finished 10-12 from the free throw line in the opening round victory. He really plays bigger than his size and constantly brings good awareness to the floor for the Irish.
