Ammar Maxwell Ammar Maxwell Ammar Maxwell 6'3" | SG Shady Spring | 2024 State WV is the quintessential long and athletic shooting guard.  He’s checking in at number six not only based on his offers and court performance but also his marketability as a recruit.  He’s an athletic 6’3″ who could possibly grow just a bit more and be a big athletic guard at the next level.  Already offered at the next level, we believe there are several D2’s that will have strong consideration after the state tournament next week that could possibly result in additional offers.

Ammar Maxwell Ammar Maxwell Ammar Maxwell 6'3" | SG Shady Spring | 2024 State WV is holding current offers from WV Tech, Glenville St and Concord.  Maxwell has great size and length for a guard and should fit in nicely into any system.  Maxwell being the featured scorer in Shady Spring’s offense this year, he could demand alot of college attention and may surprise a few folks with the level of interest.

No surprise to anyone in attendance, Ammar Maxwell Ammar Maxwell Ammar Maxwell 6'3" | SG Shady Spring | 2024 State WV was hot from the word go in this showcase.   Maxwell of course is one of the state’s top players overall and is getting many looks at multiple levels and has offers in hand.  He showed last Sunday he is exactly what we thought he was.

Maxwell brings big-time versatility to the floor with his game. Ammar is extremely agile and long with his play. He would collect the rebound on the defensive end of the floor and bring the ball up in transition. Maxwell had several coast to coast moves today in a opening round win over Hampshire HS.

He has the ability to play-inside out at times but at times he can really create mismatches with his length. Ammar averaged a double-double this season for the Tigers.
