ROUND 1
This district is a 6 team tournament with the top 2 seeds getting byes in the first round. In the first round we had the 3rd seed Deer Park play the 6th seed Riverside. Deer Park would win 69-45. Number 4 seed Colville would play against the 5th seed, Newport. Colville would win 49-38. Deer Park and Colville will advance to the next round. Newport and Riverside had their seasons end.
ROUND 2
Round 2 would consist of 2 games where the winners advance to the district 7 1A championship game. Top seed Freeman played the 4th seed Colville, Freeman would win 85-51. 2nd seed Lakeside (9 mile) would play 3rd seed Deer Park. Lakeside (9 mile) would win 47-44. Freeman and Lakeside (9 mile) would advance to the district 7 1A championship game on the winners side of round 3. Colville and Deer Park would advance to the losers side of round 3 where they will play each other for a chance to go to the district 6/7 crossover.
ROUND 3
The district 7 1A championship game will be between the top seed Freeman playing the 2nd seed Lakeside (9 mile). Freeman would win, 60-52 earning their bid to the 1A state tournament. Lakeside (9 mile) will go to the district 6/7 crossover for another chance at a bid to the state tournament. The losers side of round 3 was just 1 game, with the winner advancing to the district 6/7 crossover and the loser being eliminated. 3rd seed Deer Park played 4th seed Colville, with Deer Park winning 48-32. Deer Park would advance to the district 6/7 crossover and Colville’s season ended.
DISTRICT 6/7 CROSSOVER
This district crossover would be the top 2 finishers from district 6 facing off against the 2nd and 3rd finishers from district 7. These 2 games would be winner to state, loser eliminated games. Deer Park faced off against Omak, with Omak winning 74-57. Quincy would face Lakeside (9 mile) and Lakeside would win a close one, 68-66. Omak and Lakeside (9 mile) would both advance to the 1A state tournament. Quincy and Deer Park would have their seasons end.
