Andrew is a big combo-guard who can control the game with his elite ability to put the ball in the bucket, assist teammates, and clean up the boards. Charlie when in the zone is one of the hardest players to stop in the state. Both of these players stand above 6'5 giving them height advantages in many matchups. This duo has proven that they can hang with any team in the state, having double OT losses against Mountain Vista and Fossil Ridge. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1369808' first='LaDavian' last='King'] - Eaglecrest</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1369808' first='LaDavian' last='King'] has proven to be one of the best pure bucket-getters in the state. LaDavian can score from all three levels due to his smooth scoring ability off of the dribble. At the rim, he can finish effectively with both hands, sometimes even making tough floaters with the left hand. LaDavian also has some of the best footwork getting to his stepbacks allowing him to take tough contested shots. He had a big playoff run last year with Eaglecrest and will be looking to lead them with his scoring abilities.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1577989' first='Elliot' last='Moskowitz'] &amp; [player_tooltip player_id='1578000' first='Izaiyah' last='Romero'] - Fairview</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The two freshmen standouts have been in their groove recently leading Fairview to a 6 game win streak to end the season, beating very good teams including Fort Collins and Broomfield. While both of these players are guards they almost have opposite games, making them fire and ice on the floor. Elliot is a big combo-guard who is known for his knockdown shooting ability from three-point land. Izaiyah is an elite athlete who makes his presence known near the rim due to his finishing ability. Both of these players have been very solid rebounders from the guard spot making them solid all around players. These two are still only freshmen and have bright futures ahead!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1369815' first='Daniel' last='Thomason'] - Fruita Monument</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1369815' first='Daniel' last='Thomason'] is an athletic forward who has led Fruita Monument to the 12 seed this year. Daniel stands at 6'5 but makes up for his lack of height at the position with his long arms and high vertical. He does a very good job of rim running in fastbreak situations to create for himself where at the rim he can finish with highlight dunks. He has a respectable jumper and has shown some flashes of being able to play from the wing. Daniel is a very intriguing prospect as only a sophomore leading he has been having a very good season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1420173' first='Daundre' last='Samuels'] &amp; [player_tooltip player_id='1420175' first='Austin' last='Mohr'] - Denver East</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Denver East has two seniors who have perfectly set the tone for this team due to their team-first mentality. Daundre is a big guard who is an equal threat to make a bucket or assist a teammate. He has also been one of the best defenders in the state due to his long arms and great instincts which allow him to disrupt opponents' offenses. Austin is a knockdown shooter, who has shown his versatility on the court being a very good on-ball defender and rebounder for his position. Both of these players have done a good job being the top two options while still looking to get teammates involved, this had led to Denver East having great chemistry and ball movement on the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
