With Public School Association League playoffs just around the corner, now is as good a time as any to check in on the undefeated Transit Tech High School.

Ashton Reynolds (Guard/Forward, Junior, 6'3)- Reynolds is the leader of this team in every capacity: offense, defense and in transition. In the three games I have seen Reynolds play in, he has been the best athlete on the court and it hasn't been close. Reynolds combines his excellent leaping ability with his long wingspan to block shots and throw down emphatic dunks. It is clear that Reynolds and Coach Hafford have worked hard together to find the right balance between Reynolds playing the big man role and continuing to develop his guards skills. Reynolds has the strength to battle with bigger kids down low but also has the ability to make a slick crossover in transition and finish with a pull up jumper from 3. Transit Tech relies on Reynolds to contribute in every aspect of the game and so far their record speaks for itself.

Tyler Fraser (Guard, Senior)- Fraser is the batman to Reynolds' robin for Transit Tech. Coach Hafford holds all of his players accountable but it is rare that Fraser is on the receiving end of constructive criticism. Fraser feels the game at a high level, always finding himself in the right place at the right time and finding his teammates for open shots. Fraser has a nice dribble pull-up game and is comfortable launching it from anywhere beyond the arch. Fraser looks to get his shot from the outside first but he also uses his strength to get inside. Fraser has the essential toolkit for a guard: feel, defense and shooting.

Garelle Solomon (Guard, Senior, 5'9)- In a word, Solomon is a bucket. Solomon plays the combo guard at a high level, knowing how to make small adjustments to his game based on who he is sharing the court with. When playing with Fraser, Solomon looks to be more of an offball shooter, coming off picks and lurking in the corner for a kick out. Solomon loves to get out in transition and often finds himself in the middle of passing lanes helping to create those transition opportunities.

Temitope Alao (Guard/Forward, Senior)- Alao is a star in his role on the team. Alao plays solid fundamental defense and is never caught cheating for blocks or steals. On the offensive end, he is a reliable shooter from deep and loves to pump fake into a nice dribble pullup jumper.

Xavier Sanchez (Guard/Forward, Senior)- Sanchez is a tough and fundamental player. Defenders trying to drive on Sanchez will find themselves running into a solid brick wall. Sanchez never tries to get too fancy with the ball but he is a good passer and knows how to protect the rock. Sanchez uses his strength to get into the lane and finish over anyone.
