Here is everything you need to know ahead of Day 2 of the shootout.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Newsome vs Santa Fe Catholic- 2:30pm: </strong>The Newsome Wolves (21-3) look to bounce back after sustaining a 54-48 loss to Wharton in their last game and have now dropped two of their last three games. Keep an eye on 6'5 senior small forward [player_tooltip player_id='1296058' first='Aiden' last='Carver'] in this matchup for the Wolves who is one of the best perimeter shooters in this shootout. On the other side, the Santa Fe Catholic Hawks (15-9) will look to get back on track heading into the district tournament after going 2-3 in their last five games. Keep an eye on 6'6 junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1163363' first='Triston' last='Wilson'] who is averaging a team best 17.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game this season for the Vikings. Another name to keep an eye on will be Presbyterian College signee [player_tooltip player_id='709246' first='Carl' last='Parrish'] who is averaging 15.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. The Bartow Yellow Jackets (13-11) will look to get back into their winning ways after dropping three of their last four games, including a 80-63 loss to Windermere last night in Day 1 of the event. Keep an eye on 6'0 sophomore guard Lawrence Horton who is leading the team averaging 13.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
