Chambers (15-5) @ North Meck (19-1)
A titanic rematch awaits North Meck after their last game against Chambers ended with Isaiah Evans Isaiah Evans 6'6" | SG North Mecklenburg | 2024 State #17 Nation NC dropping 48 points and the game winner. North Meck is a well known commodity by now, with guys like Evans, Trey Maxwell Trey Maxwell 6'4" | SG North Mecklenburg | 2024 State NC , Christian Foy Christian Foy 6'6" | PF North Mecklenburg | 2024 NC , and Ashton Pierce Ashton Pierce 6'3" | SG North Mecklenburg | 2026 State NC all making an impact on the floor for them this year. For Chambers, senior guard/wing Nick Dorn Nick Dorn 6'5" | SG JL Chambers | 2023 State NC leads the way, but it is a multi-headed team. Maurio Hanson Maurio Hanson 6'7" | PF JL Chambers | 2024 State NC is an interior focused forward, who is strong and physical when attacking the rim, and Jordan Patton Jordan Patton 6'5" | SF JL Chambers | 2024 State NC is a slashing guard who attacks the glass with consistency on both ends. This should be just as fun of a matchup as last time out was, but I believe North Meck comes out on top in the end.
Holly Springs (16-4) @ Green Level (15-5)
A Wake County clash is coming up Tuesday night as a strong Holly Springs squad is headed to take on surprise package Green Level. The Gators have been better than expected so far, with 6’8 wing Isaac Ericksen Isaac Ericksen 6'8" | SF Green Level | 2025 State NC leading the way. He’s in the mold of a “big guard” who does a whole lot of everything when he’s on the floor. Israel Eatman Israel Eatman 6'4" | CG Green Level | 2025 State NC is a sniper from deep, shooting over 42% on the season. Tye Cain is an undersized point guard who plays really hard and finds ways to contribute night in and night out. However, they will need their biggest win in school history against a 16-4 Holly Springs team. Collin Kuhl Collin Kuhl 6'8" | SF Holly Springs | 2023 State NC will draw the matchup with Ericksen, as he is a versatile forward who can defend wings and also play inside. For guard play, they rely on Micah Jones Micah Jones 5'11" | PG Holly Springs | 2023 State NC and Ryan Crotty Ryan Crotty 6'6" | SG Miller School | 2025 State VA to provide playmaking and shooting, which they will need in bunches to keep up with the strong Green Level attack. This should be an awesome atmosphere and game, but I like the Golden Hawks to get this victory on the road.
South Granville (13-6) @ Southern Durham (15-5)
A 2A conference title is on the line when these two teams meet Wednesday, and I believe we’ll see a better game than their first encounter. South Granville has a solid, balanced team that’s led by juniors Pierce Petit and Oliver Roberts Oliver Roberts 6'3" | CG South Granville | 2024 State NC . Petit is a sniper from deep, and Roberts has more of a creative, playmaking edge to him that makes a balanced backcourt. Mason Brown Mason Brown 6'8" | C South Granville | 2025 State NC is a 6’6 forward that helps lead a balanced rebounding team and will be one to watch as he continues growing and developing. For Southern Durham, the offense runs through Jackson Keith Jackson Keith 6'6" | CG Southern Durham | 2025 State #84 Nation NC . He’s averaging 20.5 PPG and 8 RPG, and he’s a monster in transition from start to finish. He’s a shifty slasher that gets downhill in a hurry and will make you pay if you do not get back in front of him, whether at the rim or at the free throw line. Camren Daniels Camren Daniels 6'5" | SG Southern Durham | 2024 State NC is also long and lean, and his role as a scorer translates more to shooting from deep and shooting jumpers versus getting to the rim. This should be a fun local contest, and we’re hoping for a close game.
