17U Oklahoma State Tournament Preview: Pool E
The 17U bracket is loaded with arguably the best field of Oklahoma teams a tournament in-state will have all grassroots season. Each team will advance from pool play with a chance to advance to the Championship game of the 17U bracket.
Pool E features a Texas squad, Team Lo. They are always really talented. Game Changer Hoops Elite is a group with several talented players that will end up at the small college level. Oklahoma Power Select is the team with the opportunity to really surprise some people with their good group they have. Pool E should be one of the more competitive pools of the 17U bracket.
Pool E
Team Lo
Carson Loya, Marluan Johnson and Benjamin Poland headline a very talented Team Lo squad out of Texas. Team Lo made it to the 16U Championship game a year ago. They look to make another deep run in the Prep Hoops Oklahoma State Tournament in 2017.
Oklahoma Power Select
Jake Harstad, Jalen Ngussen and Ethan Morton lead the attack for Oklahoma Power Select. Nguessen is really good at attacking the rim with the ball in his hands. They are in a pool where the Oklahoma Power Select squad looks to be very competitive. They could be a team that surprises this weekend.
Game Changer Hoops Elite
The Game Changer Hoops Elite squad has several small college prospects with Cole Jones and Zalek Sharp leading the way. Jones is a talented scorer who can handle the rock. Sharp is an off Guard with some upside to his game as a good player on both ends of the floor. Two other players to keep an eye out for are Karsten Berg and Beau Archer. Berg is a sniper for three-point range.
