The junior guard is so quick with the ball in his hands, and was fearless attacking the rim and finishing against the Holy Angels size. He did a great job of using the rim to make it harder for defenders to block his shots as he was able to finish on reverse lay-ups. Showcased a smooth pull-up jumper with a very quick release from both mid-range and three. That quick release allows him to get off his shot with limited space, and that space was easy for him to create because of how quick he is. Still showed off his passing vision as well as he was quick to get into the lane and had some nice dump off passes to his forwards around the basket. Put up a game high 28 points in a win.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1221167"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"AJ is a standout quarterback on the football field, and that vision and poise translates well to the hardwood. At around 6'4-6'5 he runs the point for his team, and although there aren't any rebound/assist stats online, I'd be willing to bet he put up at least 20/6/6 on the night. He throws a lot of one handed passes like he would a football, and although it's unorthodox, he's extremely accurate and it allows him to find teammates at angles that a chest pass wouldn't be able to reach. He was setting up his shooters with passes right into their hands, delivered some deep passes to teammates streaking up the floor, while also being able to get off his own shots. Boarman showed he can knock down open threes, and has excellent body control at the rim allowing him to finish in a variety of ways. Defensively he was moving his feet with smaller guards, and was excellent at blocking shots or walling up to make things difficult for opposing players around the rim. Also threw down a transition dunk as part of a run that helped Holy Angels come back from a double-digit deficit late in the game.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"[player_tooltip player_id='2397868' first='Emmaureon' last='Rulford']","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"6'0u0022","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"77248","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"Columbia Heights","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_2_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='2397868' first='Emmaureon' last='Rulford'] was a major spark for Columbia Heights. He's an explosive guard who can turn nothing into something with his speed getting up and down the floor. He rebounds well as a guard with his ability to explode and grab the ball with two hands, and after a defensive board he was immediately looking to go the other way. Had multiple plays where he took a defensive board and flew up the floor to get all the way to the rim and finish. Defensively he's very quick laterally to move his feet with guards on the perimeter. In the half-court he helped spread the floor as a three point threat. Finished with 14 points in the win.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1284207"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Randy struggled with foul trouble throughout the game and only ended up playing roughly 18-20 minutes, but still made a major impact with 19 points. He's a silky smooth guard who plays with good pace and can pull up for his jumper in a hurry. Has no shortage of confidence in his three point shot, and can make you pay for giving him too much space beyond the arc. I like how he looks to finish off two feet when he gets to the basket, which gives him the ability to just hang in the air and finish with balance.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1221166"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Another standout football prospect for Holy Angels, Jaylen put up a team high 23 points for Holy Angels. He helped put together a huge run in the second half for AHA as he just continued to get to the rim in transition. At 6'3 he has a long and athletic frame that allowed him to explode to the basket and finish in a variety of ways. Has a soft touch around the basket that allowed him to finish through some contact while also going up and under for some reverse lay-ups. Versatile defender because of how well he moves at his size.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["962307"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"It may not have been the shot that Columbia Heights wanted, but [player_tooltip player_id='962307' first='Leavale' last='Hicks'] knocked down a mid-range jumper as he was falling out of bounds with just seconds remaining to give his team the 2 point win. The quick guard was putting himself into the right place at the right time throughout the game allowing him to get good looks along the baseline. Can elevate off two feet for a mid-range jumper, but also showed he can take a dribble towards the rim and score over the top with a floater. Left handed guard finished with 13 points in the win.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["1617719"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Jamison was shooting the lights out last night, and with a talented passer like [player_tooltip player_id='1221167' first='AJ' last='Boarman'] he was able to feast off catch and shoot threes. Recognized when his man left to help stop the dribble drive, and moved into the right space to receive a kickout pass and let it fly from deep . The junior guard has a quick release to beat the closeout, and it allowed him to put up a season high 21 points. Has now scored in double figures in his last four games after scoring a combined 8 points in the first two games of the year.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":7,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63b8932c72c4e"} /-->
