Wright has taken a significant leap this summer, emerging as a true two-way threat. Offensively, he’s playing downhill with purpose consistently attacking the rim. Also creating scoring opportunities for himself and teammates, and finishing at all three levels. An aggressive mindset and feel for the game have made him a dynamic presence with the ball in his hands. On the defensive end, Wright’s athleticism and intensity stand out. He stays engaged on every possession, using quick feet and strong anticipation to contain ball handlers and contest shots effectively. His ability to impact the game on both ends makes him one of the more complete and competitive forwards on the floor

At his best while attacking downhill, he looks to blow by his opponent from early on acceleration one on one. Capable finishing shot attempts through contact, the guard has most of his success inside the arc. Defensively, he will be able to compete against both backcourt positions, effective at locking down opponents one on one. The guard was among the most dependable rebounders with Team Daum this past club season, leveraging his frame and quickness to overpower opponents on the glass.

His abilities at roughly 6’5 are not easy to find, given the fluid handle, leveraging his scoring abilities within the arc. Wright is a completely different player than even six months ago, more comfortable within his frame.

A tall scoring guard, Wright has been an impactful shotmaker throughout the summer, capable of scoring above defenders. Standing right around 6’3, the guard can step into shot attempts over a contest or elevate at the rim for a finish past contests. His wide reach has allowed the guard advantages on contests, simply making it tough for smaller guards to get the shot off above him. Make no mistake, Wright is fairly quick laterally and with the first step, certainly an intriguing prospect to follow.

Wright is a good offensive threat for his team and can put pressure on defenders with his scoring ability. He is a player that can score on all three levels and has good vision. He is a good midrange shooter and was able to knock down some 3’s as well. When he drives to the basket he has some length and is able to finish over defenders or dish it off to an open teammate for an easy bucket.
