School just began for most districts across the state and the 2026 class is officially now at the high school level. And on Saturday morning and afternoon in Edmond, we got our first real good look at the 2026 class at the Oklahoma Freshman Showcase. We had nearly 80 2026 prospects in attendance and they participated in three games throughout the event against other ’26 prospects. In this post, we take a look at some of the top shooters from the event. In case you missed it, you can check out our picks for the Top Performers, including the MVP selection. While we saw quite a few players absolutely fill it up throughout the day on Saturday, these five seemed to always be making buckets every time we turned around.
Daxton Glenn Daxton Glenn 6'0" | SF Bridge Creek | 2026 State OK – Guard – Bridge Creek
When we first watched Bridge Creek guard Daxton Glenn Daxton Glenn 6'0" | SF Bridge Creek | 2026 State OK , it was his athleticism that really stood out to us. But then we watched him over the next few games and Glenn showcased an ability to knock down shots from just about anywhere on the floor. Out of the five prospects on this breakdown, Glenn was probably the best athlete of the group but that didn’t take away from his ability to create shots for himself. Glenn is definitely going to be a name to watch over the next few seasons. He’s listed as a small forward and you can tell that he’s a player that’s used to being one of the taller kids on the floor. But he’s already developing his game as a guard and that will fit him nicely.
Drew Reynolds Drew Reynolds 6'0" | SG Yukon | 2026 State OK – Guard – Yukon
Team 6 had some of the best talent on it throughout the event as they had multiple players that ended up standing out throughout the day in Edmond. One of the top shooters from that team was Yukon guard Drew Reynolds Drew Reynolds 6'0" | SG Yukon | 2026 State OK . The Yukon guard was at his best on Saturday in catch and shoot situations. And this team had plenty of talent around him for him to be set up for plenty of those situations. Reynolds definitely had his shot working for him on Saturday and did most of his damage from beyond the arc. We’re interested to see how much he grows over the next few years and see if he becomes more of a shooting guard or even a small forward when it comes to being a prospect.
Fabian Harris Fabian Harris 6'3" | SG Tulsa Memorial | 2026 State OK – Guard – Sapulpa
Sapulpa had a few guards that stood out throughout the morning and afternoon but one of the more consistent shooters from start to finish was Fabian Harris Fabian Harris 6'3" | SG Tulsa Memorial | 2026 State OK . He was one of the top shooters from the entire event as he was very deadly from beyond the three-point arc. He made it look easy at times and throughout the event, he became an offensive threat that opponents had to spend more time defending. As we mentioned, the Chieftains had a few players that really stood out and the future appears to be bright for Sapulpa moving forward. Having a guard like Harris come along who has good size and can routinely knock down shots from beyond the arc will help.
Landon Smith – Guard – Mustang
Over the last few years, Mustang has had one of the best shooters in the state with 2022 guard Ethan Scott. They might have another one coming up with 2026 guard Landon Smith. It’s obviously a little too early to make those comparisons but Smith had an outstanding day filling it up from beyond the arc. I personally watched two of Smith’s games on Saturday and in both, he was consistent with his jumper and the lefty could heat up in a hurry. That was the thing that was so impressive in a setting like Saturday where every player on the floor wants to take advantage of his opportunities. It didn’t take long for Smith to show out while others worked their way into a rhythm.
Tyce Berman – Guard – Jenks
One of the best point guards in attendance was Jenks guard Tyce Berman. Not only did he impress the Prep Hoops writers in attendance with his play, but we had multiple coaches from the event make a point to say that Berman could absolutely go. He wasn’t the biggest guard in the event but he played fearless and would attack bigger opponents and still have the ability to finish. But what gets him on this breakdown was his ability to stop on a dime from anywhere and knock down a jump shot. Whether it was beyond the arc or in the mid-range game, Berman had a really good day on Saturday. We’re very interested to see how his game continues to grow.
