RJ Kennedy RJ Kennedy 6'1" | CG Fayette County | 2023 State GA impressed me throughout the weekend with his smooth handle and aggression in the half court offense. Kennedy creates instant offense with his ability to penetrate and either finish at the rim or collapse the defense and kick it out. He had some really tough finishes and was able to get to the free throw line over and over again. Kennedy’s recruitment should pick up soon after a great weekend in front of several coaches.
2023 6’10 Domas Kauzonas – Atlanta Timberwolves White (GA)
Kauzonas had a great showing this weekend, putting parts of his game on display that are often overlooked. In his first game, Kauzonas was tasked with guarding the highly-touted 7-footer JT Rock and he played him tough inside, making him work for his points. Kauzonas also showed the ability to space the floor, knocking down a few 3’s in that game as he played a huge part in helping the Timberwolves secure the win. On the interior, Kauzonas has good feet and is a capable scorer from the post. LM & MM programs in need of a big should take a long look at Domas Kauzonas.
2023 6’7 Chamberlain Campbell – Team Speights (FL)
Chamberlain Campbell had arguably more upside than any other prospect I watched over the weekend. Campbell has long arms and can absolutely jump out of the gym. This combination of tools allowed Campbell to grab a lot of rebounds and finish several put-back dunks above the rim. As he spends more time around the game training with Team Speights, Campbell’s skillset should continue to develop and unlock new parts to his game.
2023 6’4 Jinwoo Kim – Phenom Boys (MI)
Jinwoo Kim is a strong ball-handler from Missouri that had a lot of people talking after his impressive showing this weekend. He’s a high-IQ point guard with the ability to slow down and control the flow of the game. Kim is powerful on the attack and embraces contact around the rim, getting to the free-throw line frequently. Originally a 2022, Kim recently reclassified into the 2023 class and announced he’d be headed to Mercersburg Academy this year. I could also see Kim attracting several high-academic programs with his 4.2 GPA.
2023 6’5 Stefan Davidov Stefan Davidov 6'4" | SF Denmark | 2023 State GA – Atlanta Timberwolves Green (GA)
Stefan Davidov Stefan Davidov 6'4" | SF Denmark | 2023 State GA is a versatile wing that sees the floor well and finds holes in the defense. He was assertive offensively, scoring in the flow of the offense and in isolation sets. He attacks gaps and finishes with a nice touch around the rim. Davidov’s pull-up game is a thing of beauty and his mid-range shot is just so consistent. Stefan Davidov Stefan Davidov 6'4" | SF Denmark | 2023 State GA embodies many of the traits that the Atlanta Timberwolves have become known for: high-academic, well coached, and active defense.
