The Clemson-signee filled up the box score as usual in a 77-66 win against Kell. Foster finished with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. Zac makes it look easy. He is extremely active and has a great feel for the game, often putting himself in position to make plays routinely. Zac sees the floor as a distributor and has proven to be a lockdown on-ball defender.

Foster separates himself from most guards with his impact on the defensive side of the ball. In a win over Ware County, scoring was the last thing Zac was focused on. Instead, his floor game and effort defensively helped ignite his offense later on. Foster served as a distributor for most of the game, finding the open man off the dribble and sparking transition opportunities after forcing turnovers. Zac filled up the box score with 9 points, 4 rebounds, 9 assists, 4 steals and 1 block, going 4-4 from the foul line and hitting a step-back three and a mid-range jumper. High Major and Mid-Major programs have offered the long-armed guard.

Zach Foster really shined with the Atlanta Celtics this spring and ended May on an extremely high note. At Adidas 3SSB Session II, Foster had multiple 20+ point games and picked up offers from Georgia Tech, West Virginia, and Virginia Tech. He’s a smart point guard with excellent feel for the game. His ability to read and react in tight windows is special. Foster also shoots it well off the dribble and keeps defenders on their toes with different speeds. Zach Foster should be a very popular name amongst high-major coaches during the upcoming live periods.

Foster is one of two Atlanta Celtics 17U Prospects who stood out from a matchup with Upward Stars. He is a gifted scoring guard who needs only an inch of space to get his shot up. Zachary is confident from all three levels and excels at creating his own bucket off the dribble. He also can create for others, adding 4 Assists to his 20 Points in the game. His athleticism translates to the defensive end as well, making an impact with blocks and steals.

Up from No. 25: Mississippi State and South Florida offered in July. Wiry guard that does a lot well. Uses his length to his advantage on defense. Shoots into passing lanes and can harass smaller guards as an on-ball defender. Smooth offensive game. Averaged 12 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2.3 steals per game.

Up from No. 38: I’ve seen Foster play multiple times this offseason and all he has done is produce. Foster’s consistency has become a hallmark of his game. Zac is long and wiry. He’s active on both ends of the floor. Foster uses his wingspan to deter opposing guards and has quick instincts to poke away steals and earn deflections in passing lanes. Zac glides to the basket for layups but is a good outside shooter with three-point range. Foster does a little bit of everything with his floor game.

Foster already looks longer and taller from when I last saw him a month ago. Zac has been trending up this entire offseason, prime for a big junior season. He filled up the box score against North Oconee, primarily scoring at the rim. Foster had 17 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. You can always count on Zac to play with a high motor.
