Reed Sheppard Reed Sheppard 6'3" | PG North Laurel | 2023 State #22 Nation KY , North Laurel – A consensus top 25 player in America, Reed is the clear front runner for 2023 Mr Basketball and is already committed to Kentucky for college. Sheppard does it all on the court and could have pro potential in a couple of years.
Jacob Meyer Jacob Meyer 6'2" | PG Holy Cross Covington | 2023 #170 Nation GA , Covington Holy Cross – Meyer is an explosive athlete and a big time scorer who led the country in scoring last season at nearly 40 points per game. Jacob recently decommitted from WKU and is likely seeking out high major offers heading into July.
Reece Potter Reece Potter 6'11" | C Lexington Catholic | 2023 State #212 Nation KY , Lexington Catholic – Reece has gotten even better in the last 6 months for so and should likely be on the radar for high major schools heading into July AAU. At 7 foot tall, Potter can put the ball on the floor and attack the rim and can also step out and knock down shots.
Teagan Moore Teagan Moore 6'4" | SF Owen County | 2023 State KY , Owen County – Having gone from no offers to 5 offers since April, Teagan has shown he’s one of the best guards in Kentucky and not just a high scoring player from a small school. Moore has good size at 6’5 and can score the ball at every level. He is likely to have even more offers a month from now.
Evan Ipsaro Evan Ipsaro 5'11" | PG Covington Catholic | 2023 State KY , Covington Catholic – Ipsaro is probably the best kid in the state that never gets mentioned among the elite. Evan is an athletic point guard who can run a team or create his own offense and will try to dunk on opponents in the open floor. He holds a bunch of D1 offers and will be a hot commodity with Indiana Elite in July.
Jerone Morton Jerone Morton 6'3" | SG George Rogers Clark | 2023 State KY , George Rogers Clark – The 2022 State tournament MVP, Jerone is a consistent scorer who is going to get his 18+ points every game. Morton has been consistently getting D1 offers for the last 18 months and is among the best in Kentucky at getting downhill and finishing through contact at the rim.
John Mccrear John Mccrear 6'8" | PF Woodfard | 2023 State #219 Nation KY , Woodford County – The light seems to be coming on for McCrear. The long and athletic forward has always passed the eye test but John has raised his skill level and showing coaches he should be a big recruit in July. He got his first 2 D1 offers yesterday and could get plenty more in July.
Gabe Sisk Gabe Sisk 6'5" | SG Ballard | 2023 #232 Nation CA-N , Ballard – Gabe has had a quiet summer outside of rumors that he was possibly leaving Ballard for Oak Hill Academy. Sisk still has the tools to be a high D1 recruit and looks like a high major kid at times when he’s at his best. With a good July, Gabe could see his recruiting take off.
Cyr Malonga Cyr Malonga 6'10" | C Evangel Christian | 2023 State KY , Evangel Christian – Malonga has made tremendous strides in his basketball career and has as much potential as any big in Kentucky thanks to his size and athleticism. Cyr is an above average rim protector and excels as a rim runner on offense. There’s no reason he shouldn’t have a bunch of D1 offers to choose from soon.
Gabriel Dynes Gabriel Dynes 7'3" | C Simon Kenton | 2023 State KY , Simon Kenton – Dynes has gone from unknown to top 10 thanks to a growth spurt last year that shot him up to 7’3. The tallest player in Kentucky, Gabe keeps getting better and better and recently earned a D1 offer from Youngstown State and a D2 offer from Emory & Henry with more schools tracking him in July.
