— SG — Team 1848
Vandervest was one of the biggest stock risers from the spring AAU season, and it should only be a matter of time until he gains attention from top college programs. The shooting guard is extremely athletic and is able to throw down some pretty impressive dunks. The SG is also a tremendous rebounder on both ends of the court. Moving forward, Vandervest is certainly a name to know.
James Prescott — PG — Illinois Elite
Prescott is a really impressive 2022 point guard who will be announcing his college commitment on June 20th. Prescott is coming off a tremendous spring AAU session. The PG is one of the better pure scorers that I have had the privilege to watch. He has a really quick first step, can knockdown outside jumpers, and is a tremendous ball handler. He will no-doubt make an impact at the next level.

Hagen just seems to get better and better each time he steps on the court. The Minnesota Select point guard is a true three level scoring threat who puts a lot of pressure on opposing defenses. The PG does a great job of slashing to the rim and getting difficult layups to fall. He is also a deadly mid-range and three-point shooter. After watching him play this past spring, there is no-doubt in my mind that Hagen is worthy of a scholarship.
AJ Uttech — SG — Wisconsin Academy
Uttech is a tough shot maker who defenders had a really hard time slowing down. He isn’t the tallest shooting guard, but what he lacks in height he makes up for in strength. Uttech is very good at driving in the paint and finishing layups through contact. As a shooter, the Wisconsin Academy standout is almost automatic when left open. I look forward to watching Uttech play this summer.

— SG — Minnesota Fury
Shikenjanski is just so good everywhere. He doesn’t have any noticeable weaknesses in his game. The Minnesota Fury shooting guard can score, is a terrific passer, and plays hard on defense. Coming off a big junior season at Stillwater, Shikenjanski solidified himself as one of Minnesota’s best prospects this spring on the Prep Hoops Circuit.

Malmlov may be the best pure shooter that I was able to watch this past spring. He has a pure shot form from deep and doesn’t miss many looks when left open. He isn’t just a shooter, though. Malmlov has proved himself in other areas. He can get downhill and score with ease at the cup. The point guard is also a stout defender who can create turnovers. I really like Malmlov’s overall game — he is very fun to watch.
