#8 | Tyler Perkins Tyler Perkins 6'4" | SG Landon | 2023 State #268 Nation MD | Landon | Previous Rank: #19
Perkins has been on an absolute tear in recent weeks. He leads the Capitol Hoops Summer League in scoring with a 25-point-per-game average. Perkins’ strong all-around performances are a big reason why the Bears sit near the top of the standings with a winning record. The lefty swingman seems poised to parlay his All-IAC junior campaign into an All-Met senior season.
#15 | Jeremiah Quigley Jeremiah Quigley 5'9" | PG Bishop McNamara | 2023 State MD | Bishop McNamara | Previous Rank: #27
In 4 games this summer at DeMatha, Quigley is averaging about 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. He rose to prominence during his first season at McNamara last winter. Quigley continues to play well for the Mustangs and will be one to watch this summer.
#17 | Thomas Batties | Gonzaga | Previous Rank: #32
By all accounts, Thomas Batties had a great showing at Maryland Team Camp and is heading into the live periods with some great momentum. His stats rarely jump off the page, but he is a solid all-around forward who demonstrates a high basketball IQ. Look for Batties to play an integral part down the road during many wins for the Purple Eagles.
#21 | Corey Chesley Corey Chesley 6'5" | SF Good Counsel | 2023 State MD | Good Counsel | Previous Rank: #47
Chesley showed signs of improvement with DC Premier in the spring and is trending in the right direction in recent weeks with his high school squad. You won’t find many more explosive players in the area. Chesley’s averages of close to 15 points and 5 boards per game at DeMatha are encouraging.
#23 | Isaiah Mbeng Isaiah Mbeng 6'2" | PG Churchill | 2023 State MD | Churchill | Previous Rank: #54
Mbeng is the only player who ranks top-five in both points and steals at Capitol Hoops Summer League. He is also averaging 16 points and 5 boards per contest. Mbeng is emerging as a dynamic two-way playmaker who will be one to watch closely for the formidable Bulldogs moving forward.
#33 | Sebastian Dokum Sebastian Dokum 6'10" | C Good Counsel | 2023 State MD | Good Counsel | Previous Rank: #55
Dokum has carved out a nice role for the Falcons as the team’s anchor in the paint. He helps create matchup problems with his size as many teams don’t have a counter for him around the basket. Dokum should only improve as he gains experience this summer. Look for him to be a force come the winter.
#54 | Farrell Crowell Farrell Crowell 6'2" | CG Shabach Christian Academy | 2023 State MD | Carroll | Previous Rank: #86
Crowell is playing some of his best basketball in recent weeks. He is one of the more gifted playmakers you’ll find in this area. Crowell gets teammates open shots with relative ease, a trait that should not be overlooked.
#67 | Logan Lewis Logan Lewis 6'4" | PF DeMatha | 2023 State MD | DeMatha | Previous Rank: #80
Lewis was a newcomer in our last update and now he’s a stock riser. The energetic wing has been productive throughout the spring for PSB DMV and is playing with confidence for the Stags.
