Once again Kaden impressed with his ability to rebound the ball as a guard. He has a strong frame and does a nice job of consistently finding a body to box out after a shot goes up. Showcased the explosive burst to quickly elevate and secure missed shots with two hands at his highest point. On the offensive end he plays an unselfish brand of basketball, and attempts high percentage looks at the rim. Plays off two feet which allows him to keep his balance and power up to finish through some contact. Helped lead Shakopee to a win over Hopkins.

Kaden was unstoppable on Sunday, using his strong 6’1” frame to dominate opponents inside. He was cleaning up teammates’ misses for offensive rebounds all game, giving him and his team a lot of second chance opportunities. He was also able to work his way around the defense for finishes at the basket through traffic. Braxton is an aggressive player who loves to use his strength and athleticism to his advantage.

Kaden was one of the most consistent performers in the state over the spring/summer, and carried over that high level of production into Sunday afternoon. You don’t find a lot of guards with his type of physicality in the paint, as Kaden thrives at pulling in offensive rebounds and just powering his way back up for two points. All game long opposing guards and forwards couldn’t seem to stop him from earning high percentage looks around the basket. A rare type of guard who’s a threat to pull in 10+ boards in a game because of how hard he hunts down missed shots.

iwas Crossfire Becker’s top player more often than not. The six-foot-one-inch guard from Shakopee scored in double figures often with a variety of scoring skills. Switchable between both guard spots offensively, makes defenders honest with threat to shoot from the outside and drive to the basket.

Kaden got the day started off strong helping lead MN Crossfire to a big win in the 8am time slot. Early on in the game he drained two 3’s, while also getting to the rim to finish on multiple occasions. Does a great job of beating his man off the ball with hard cuts to the basket resulting in some easy looks, but can also get downhill off the dribble, shoulder some contact, and keep his chin at the rim to finish. Kaden never really looks sped up or out of his comfort zone, and it’s allowed him to have a consistent and productive spring/summer for Crossfire.
