Quin’sier Waddell Quin’sier Waddell 5'10" | PG New Hanover | 2026 State NC is an intriguing guard to get to know in NC’s 2026 class out of Laney High. He’s an aggressive paint-touching guard who can score in bunches around the painted area. Even more impressive is his ability to run the show and defend on the opposite end. He’ll be a young backcourt prospect to track in the Wilmington area in 2023-24.

Although his team would face a large early deficit, they would fight back to make things interesting, and he was one of the reasons why. We love the toughness and confidence that he seems to play the game with and the fact that he doesn’t back down from whoever he may be matched up with.

A young talent that we are expecting a big-time season from, you have to love how hard he competes regardless of who he is matched up with. On the offensive end of the floor, he can score and facilitate but where we really saw him make an impact was on the defensive end, applying constant pressure, making things difficult for opponents.
