Witherspoon is an athletic forward prospect to get to know in the 2027 class out of New Hanover High. He did well to showcase his ability to defend the painted area/rim as well as his mobility on the perimeter and beyond with his shotmaking ability. He’s got a smooth game which allows him to navigate the painted area with relative ease. He’s one to keep a close eye on in 2024-25.

Witherspoon is yet another prospect out of New Hanover who finds himself in the latest rankings debut at 33. He’s an athletic forward who’s slowly finding his way in the frontcourt rotation after producing 4.6 PPG and 2.9 RPG as a contributor in the starting and reserve spaces. He’s got a good feel for the game inside the arc which allows him to affect the game. He’ll be a name to keep an eye on with WCBA this season along with a number of other top ranked names in the class.
