Carey Smith | Prep Hoops Scout
Wallace is the heavy favorite to win the 2024-25 Friends League POY award. A quick review of his impressive resume makes it easy to see why. This Temple commit is our No. 3 rated 2025 prospect and is a Top 100 player nationally. As a junior he averaged 18.4 points to go along with 6.8 rebounds per contest. After the 2023-24 season Wallace was a 1st Team All-Friends School League selection as well as a 1st Team All-Area selection. Wallace tipped off 2024-25 season by notching 27 points (3 threes) and 6 rebounds in a win over Phelps. Wallace is an athletic and fast “big guard” who can do it all on the basketball court. His ability to blend his own three-level scoring with keeping his teammates involved is remarkable. Wallace is a two-way prospect who can guard 1 through 4.

The No. 3 rated prospect in our 2025 rankings and recent Temple commit got 2024-25 off to a fast start as he registered 27 points and 6 rebounds against Phelps. Wallace drained 3 treys, scored in transition and via quick post ups. However, his most impressive work was done in the mid-range. At that level Wallace’s polished footwork and crafty dribble moves produced several attention-grabbing buckets. Wallace also did a remarkable job of getting into the paint and then dropping dimes to the dunker spot or baseline cutters. After the 2023-24 season Wallace was a 1st Team All-FSL as well as a 1st Team All-Area selection. This year we expect him to contend for the Friends League as well as the Area POY awards.
