<p>There was so much talent at the Prep Hoops Michigan Top 250. One thing that stood out at the event was the passing. The fact that passing was one of the most notable all around skills at a showcase says something really great about the players in this state. Let’s look at some of the players that put their ability to dish the ball on display at the Top 250.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="987274" first="Jordan" last="Briggs"]</strong></p>
<p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/34-Jordan-Briggs.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1301175" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/34-Jordan-Briggs-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Briggs is like a wizard with the basketball. He sees players and passing lanes that most just cannot. Briggs is tremendous at penetrating the lane, drawing the defense, and then kicking out to the open man.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1111936" first="Joey" last="Cabana"] </strong></p>
<p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/42-Joey-Cabana.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1301182" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/42-Joey-Cabana-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Cabana is a prolific scorer and athlete, but he showed more than just that on Sunday. When he drove the lane and the defense picked him up, he flaunted a crisp and accurate kick out pass.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1181006" first="Warrick" last="Elder"]</strong></p>
<p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/3-Warrick-Elder.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1301143" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/3-Warrick-Elder-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>I liked the way Elder came at the defense. His passes had purpose and he was patient and creative with where they were going to go.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1130938" first="Lee" last="Hardy"]</strong></p>
<p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/143-Lee-Hardy.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1301275" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/143-Lee-Hardy-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Hardy was solid in many aspects of the game at the Top 250. His ability to pass from the post really stood out. He anticipated the action and found teammates.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1300894" first="Kyle" last="Jarosch"]</strong></p>
<p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/140-Kyle-Jarosch.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1301272" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/140-Kyle-Jarosch-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Jarosch made a statement with his passing at the event. He showed some really nice touch on his over the top post feeds.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1130946" first="Brennan" last="McKenzie"]</strong></p>
<p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/13-Brennan-McKenzie.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1301151" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/13-Brennan-McKenzie-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>I’ll tell you what, McKenzie came to play at the Top 250. He was feeding the post with precision the entire afternoon and evening.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="863989" first="Xander" last="Middleton"]</strong></p>
<p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/120-Xander-Middleton.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1301252" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/120-Xander-Middleton-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Between the Flight Hankamp Open Run and the Top 250, Middleton has shown off a very diverse game. On Sunday, it was his ability to push the pace with the pass that impressed me the most.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="863947" first="Grant" last="Pikkaart"]</strong></p>
<p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/142-Grant-Pikkaart.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1301274" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/142-Grant-Pikkaart-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Pikkaart stressed the defense in so many ways. He consistently stood on the wing and hit cutters in stride with precision passes. It was exciting to see him excel in this aspect of his game.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1140325" first="Mason" last="Struck"]</strong></p>
<p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/124-Mason-Struck.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1301256" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/124-Mason-Struck-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Struck sees the floor really well, especially for a 4. He makes some really good dump passes in the lane to teammates in scoring positions.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="987635" first="Anthony" last="Sydnor III"]</strong></p>
<p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/32-Anthony-Sydnor-III.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1301170" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/32-Anthony-Sydnor-III-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Sydnor III showed some impressive flash when he was passing the ball at the Top 250. His most impressive pass was a showtime behind the back pass for an assist.</p>
