I don’t know that there’s a defender in the state that can keep Briggs out of the lane on the bounce. If he has his way with the ball and gets to his spots, Muskegon will be playing in the Breslin Center.

Briggs paced Muskegon in a solid win against Zeeland West. He had 24 points in the contest and really controlled the pace of the game.

Muskegon is off to a red hot start and Briggs is a big reason why. He’s a playmaker through and through and I haven’t seen a defender that can consistently keep the Wayne State commit out of the lane. Muskegon and Briggs have a very real shot at a state title this season.

Briggs is a shining example for future generations. He didn’t listen to the naysayers and knew that he would be great. Too small? I don’t think so. Questioning his jumper? Not so much. That willingness to prove anyone and everyone wrong is what we need from leaders off the court as well. Briggs has been great ever since he stepped on a high school court and I believe that he will be great as a role model for generations to come.

Santa needs accuracy from his reindeer like we talked about above? Lets do the Michigan high school basketball sleigh a huge favor add add some downhill accuracy with Briggs. He can absolutely shake defenders with his handles, draw the defense, and dish the ball off with precision.

See above statement about this Muskegon squad. Briggs is masterful with the ball in his hands and is the the type of lead guard that will virtually never lose a game. He scored 20+ points on the night.
