4th Edition of the Utah Player of the Week
We’re back for the 4th edition of Player of the Week in the state of Utah. Region play is underway and we had some impressive performances last week. Here are our candidates for player of the week for January 16th through January 21st. Voting is located at the bottom.
Jaxon Brenchley 6-4 SR Guard (Ridgeline) has stepped his game up as we have gotten into region play. In three wins, he averaged 25 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals per game. Brenchley has already signed with the University of Utah so his only focus is on winning a 3A state championship.
Hunter Clarke 6-4 SR Guard (Ogden) is on of the most underrated players in all of Utah. In two games last week he averaged 28.5 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. In a match up versus Cal signee Trevin Knell, Clarke went toe to toe with him and scored 29 points in a close loss. Clarke is a great D2 and junior college prospect.
Tyler Boyack 6-2 SR Guard (Maple Mountain) is two huge wins this past week, Boyack averged 27 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assist, and four made three pointers per game. He is a big-time shooter and can get ridiculously hot. Boyack’s recruiting is quiet at this point but he is a for sure D2 prospect or could play at some high level jucos.
Ethan Tuckett 6-2 SR Guard (Lehi) in two wins in a tough Region 6 Tuckett averaged 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. He is a huge reason why Lehi sits tied for first with Lone Peak when no one expected much from Lehi. Tukcett is an underrated player who is a for sure small college prospect.
