and the Titans were locked in. 17 first quarter points that included transition dunks, curl cuts off screens and tough pull-up jumpers, White wasted no time establishing dominance on Wednesday night. Ottawa Glandorf comes out focused and the Titans feed off the energy that their crazy fans bring on a nightly basis. Their defensive unity makes it so tough to score on them in the half-court and they don’t turn the ball over to give many easy transition opportunities. It’s easy to spotlight White for what he does on an individual level, but his teammates always give the extra effort on both ends and in the district final it was a role player knocking down a 3-pointer to tie the game with 10 seconds left. White’s 36 points were key, but this was a true team effort by the Titans on both ends of the court.

I just watched Ottawa Glandorf last Saturday and they took a tough loss on their home court. This Saturday they went on the road and handed Lexington just their second loss of the season. White was instrumental in the performance with a handful of strong drives to the rim where he scored through the chest of the Lexington rim protectors. Lexington didn’t force White to his left hand and he continued to attack on the right side of the rim with two foot finishes that showed his balance and ability to score through contact. Also knocking down some tough 8-15 foot shots, White’s touch was on full display when he got the friendly roll a few times on these mid-range pull-ups. Continuing to improve as an athlete, White had a couple breakaway dunks including a left-handed dunk jumping off his right foot, something that is very hard for a right-handed player to do. White finished with a game-high 26 points and had some key buckets late to help the Titans get a signature win headed into the playoffs.

is a bucket and for his senior campaign, it has been no different. This Buckeye commit is still just as good at scoring the ball as ever but I was impressed with the physicality White has added this year. Yesterday was my first time seeing Ottawa-Glandorf play this season and his size stood out to me. He gets to the rim much better and is someone who creates contact and dictates it when getting to the rim. He is always on balance and this helps him finish. He has a great touch around the rim just like beyond the arc.

White is committed to Ohio State and came off an impressive grassroots season with Indiana Elite. White has led his small town high school Ottawa Glandorf to three straight final four appearances and will be looking to finally lift the trophy as a senior.

The top small town prospect in the state, White is committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes after a strong spring and summer with Indiana Elite. White has done nothing but win throughout his high school career, making it to the state final four in Division III his first three years of high school. Hoping for that elusive state championship this year, we’ll see if White and the Titans have what it takes to win it all.

in front of elite college programs. White’s made some developments since the state tournament, most notably a smoother jumper that’s more fluid and going in at a higher rate than before. Combine this improved shooting with White’s usual tough takes to the basket and relentless motor and you have yourself one of the top talents in the state. Plenty of schools interested in White right now, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top in the race to sign him.

White joined an elite 3SSB program in Indiana Elite and fit in perfectly as a wing shooter next to Flory Bidunga and a bunch of playmakers. His shooting numbers this spring were very impressive as he was one of just six wings who shot 40% or better from 3-point range and 75% or better from the free throw line on 25+ attempts each in circuit events. Other players on that list, as noted by Cerebro Sports PD Web included number one player in the country Tre Johnson and four-star Jalil Bethea. With interest from a handful of mid to high major programs, it’ll be interesting to see where White makes his decision to play his college ball at.
