One of the elite shooters in northwest Ohio, Erford has a quick release and gets his feet set running off screens. A wing who can score off a variety of off-ball actions, Ottawa Glandorf used baseline screens, elevator screens and simple drive and kicks. A player who has been in a lot of big games with the Titans, Erford is capable of helping a small college program with his ability to shoot at his size. If Ottawa Glandorf is going to make it back to Dayton, they’ll need Erford to continue to make shots from the perimeter.

Erford can put the ball in the basket. He is an absolute sniper who has a really quick shot. He is a big guard that needs no space to get his shot off. He is a very confident kid and like every good shooter, you have to be confident. I was impressed with his ability to finish in the mid-range and around the rim. He did a great job of this by coming to 2-foot stops to calm himself and get his balance. He has good touch and this allows him to be effective from the inside the arc as well.

An excellent shooter, Erford had one of the top 3-point shooting percentages in the state this season. Coming up big in huge situations, Erford was knocking down shots during the Titans run to the state championship game where they fell short. Erford also showed that he’s more than just a stretch-4 with a couple attacks on closeouts where he put the ball on the floor and made a play attacking the basket. Coming from one of the best small town programs in Ohio, Erford will be ready for college coaching from day one.
