. The electric 5’7″ guard is one of the top scorers in southern Indiana and can get hot in a hurry to lead the Bulldogs to victory. Despite Bosse winning the regular season matchup 62-60 on December 12, it seems like Evansville Memorial enters Sectional 32 at Boonville as the favorite after winning nine straight and 14 of their last 15. However, if Bosse is to beat them against it’ll likely be because they have no answer for Howell on the perimeter.

Why You Want Him: Howell is a truly elite scorer. He is dynamic with the ball in his hands, creates his own shot from all three levels, and can fill it up from beyond the arc. His offensive ability will translate right away to the next level.
Stats: Not available online but averages somewhere around 23 points per game.
There was not a quicker player in the gym during the Fishers Holiday Classic and that is a fact. Howell was doing what he does best and that was making plays happen with his speed and incredible ability to score around any defender that was in his way. His jumper took a little bit to get going but once that started to flow, there was not much that Portage could do to stop him. He also continued to prove that there is simply no guarding him if he gets out in transition. The floor general finished with 17 points.
Howell makes a strong case as the best guard here in the Fishers tournament, which is a huge advantage for Evansville Bosse. On the ball, there will be no player that is was quick as Howell and there will likely be no guard that will be able to break down a defense like he can. He is another 2024 guard that is still on the board as far as recruiting is concerned. He is going to put up a lot of points here.

Scoring 26 points in a win over a rival that is also ranked in the Top 5 of Class 3A is a surefire way to grab the attention of those from around the state. That is what Howell, one of the top scorers in the state of Indiana, did last night while leading Bosse to an upset win over Memorial 62-60. It was the Bulldogs first win of the season.
