#33 | Thomas Whitley Thomas Whitley 6'6" | PF Eleanor Roosevelt | 2021 State MD | Eleanor Roosevelt
Whitley the quintessential glue guy in that he does many things well on the floor and can be productive with minimal touches. His body has developed significantly in recent months and this should lead to an even more profound all-around impact.
#36 | Will Reynolds Will Reynolds 6'3" | CG DeMatha | 2021 State MD | DeMatha
An unheralded contributor to DeMatha’s WCAC title run, Reynolds is a steely competitor who sets the tone with his defense but is also known to dunk on those who challenge him when he attacks the rim. Those dunks serve as a source of inspiration for his team and provide a spark of energy.
#43 | Ian Wallace Ian Wallace 6'5" | PF Mt. Zion Prep | 2021 State MD | Mt. Zion Prep
Wallace knows how to contribute to winning teams as we saw during his days at Poly, but that trend has continued at Mt. Zion. He’s a confident floor spacer who does his due diligence defensively while bringing high-quality intangibles such as a strong work ethic to the table.
#46 | James Gross Jr. James Gross Jr. 6'3" | CG Rock Creek Christian | 2021 State MD | Rock Creek Christian
Gross can make his mark on a game on multiple fronts. If you need him to match up with a bigger opponent and keep him off the boards, he will knock that assignment out of the park. If you need him to contain a shifty ball-handler, he can do that as well. Gross can score within the context of a game without having plays called for him and that is always a plus.
#50 | Afamdi Achufusi Afamdi Achufusi 6'4" | SF Sidwell Friends | 2021 State MD | Sidwell Friends
Achufusi’s primary strengths lie on the defensive side of the ball. He has the size to be disruptive while defending in the post, but can also be effective on the perimeter, particularly against bigger wings. Offensively, his patience and unselfishness are nice qualities that tend to become contagious among his teammates.
#55 | Jordan Foster Jordan Foster 6'2" | CG Mount Zion Prep | 2021 State MD | Mt. Zion Prep
Foster is a top tier athlete who can ignite a run by catching a put-back dunk. He competes defensively and is dangerous in transition.
#65 | Sean Carr Sean Carr 6'6" | PF Mount St. Joseph | 2021 State MD | Mount Saint Joseph
Whenever he’s had opportunities in the past, Carr has taken advantage. He is a low maintenance player who does all the little things such as boxing out, setting screens, and making open shots, which all contribute to wins.
#74 | Jerrell McCready Jerrell McCready 6'4" | SF Thomas Stone | 2022 MD | Thomas Stone
McCready is an excellent complimentary player in that he can be effective without a high volume of shot attempts. Rather than being discouraged about not getting the ball, he finds other ways to make a difference. Whether that be defending with pride, rebounding in and out of his area, or simply reversing the ball to the open man, he is up to the task. Don’t get it twisted though. McCready knows how to score when the opportunity presents itself.
