next up, section 3AAAA!

Apple Valley (1). Are Horton and Hutton Ready to be the 1-2 Punch that Young-Parker were? I think Gio and Tyrese are ready to be a pair that combine for 40 a game. I think the bigger question ends up being if the depth can get to eight deep like the Eagles were last season. Quintin Lewis and [player_tooltip player_id='2423970' first='Amine' last='Maouzoun'] will have bigger roles and Amine looked great a few weekends ago. The Eagles need depth from there, and we are also hoping/assuming that Horton has recovered from a bad fall injury as we talk about the team.

Eastview (2). Is the youth ready or a year away? Eastview has the potential to be very good, the question is, will it be this year or next year? They are a huge team, [player_tooltip player_id='2140606' first='Ethan' last='McGrath'] is really good and [player_tooltip player_id='2435271' first='Kannon' last='Axdahl'] is about to be one of the elite young players in the state. It just comes down to when the group will be ready..... and keep in mind, 3AAAA and the South Suburban won't quite have the talent they did in the last few years.

Rosemount (3). Can the Irish Rebound with opponents? The backcourt is ready to go. They have [player_tooltip player_id='2126455' first='Peyton' last='Gholson'], [player_tooltip player_id='2382070' first='Jack' last='Mroczenski'], [player_tooltip player_id='2560496' first='Josh' last='Running'] and Justice DeMarco ready to step on the floor and have the top backcourt in the section. But those are guys in that 6'1 to 6'3 range, with Brady gone, who is up front?

Hastings (4). What will [player_tooltip player_id='2978874' first='Marlowe' last='Strain'] bring this year? Strain, who is back on the football field and playing well for an undefeated Hastings team, is back to his double-double ways, this team can be good again. The Raiders run good stuff, they play hard, and they have guards. Strain is tough player for teams to deal with and he would play a big part in success.

Eagan (5). Do they have the guard play to be what they need to be? Eagan was really good last season but they didn't really have a PG meaning Alex Schroepfer had to do it. Now they still have to fill those guard spots plus there is no Schroepfer to plug that hole. And it's a new coach. The Wildcats have a good frontcourt but the question is the backcourt.

Park of Cottage Grove (6). Guard play....... We referred to this with Eastview, it's something Eagan has to work on, and Park too, there is good size but do they have the guards for success? [player_tooltip player_id='2917657' first='Ethan' last='Payne'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2834228' first='Justin' last='Ebbers'] are really good and will give people fits so they just need the guards to be solid and to make some shots.

Burnsville (7). Is [player_tooltip player_id='2833380' first='Dereon' last='Barnes'] ready for a huge year? Barnes scored over 14 points a game last year as a sophomore at an AAAA school and if you do that at most AAAA schools your name is thrown around in major video headlines like crazy. Is Barnes ready to have that level of junior year? Will we see those headlines? He has a frontcourt, he has the keys, let's find out!

Bloomington Jefferson (8). Is the talent there to avoid another rough year? Jefferson is a place that a lot of players have left over the years and the area is getting older so they don't have as many players to pick from. The team has usually played hard and plays the right way, but the talent is short. What about this year?
