Midwest Fall League: Afternoon Standouts

He once again found ways to make plays off the dribble thanks to his ability to break down the defense off the dribble and create paint touches for either himself to score or collapse the defense and find a teammate. Harden's favorite shot was the floater as he went to that almost every time he drove to the rim. Harden has soft touch on his floaters as he had multiple shots bounce off the rim a few times before falling in. Harden is a part of a Monroe program that has some solid guard talent despite the loss of [player_tooltip player_id='2386696' first='Colt' last='Howard'] to Fairfield via transfer. Mabry played slow which was in control and did a nice job not rushing and being patient. Mabry got to his spots and did a nice job of finding teammates after getting to different spots on the court off the dribble. Ahern was able to get downhill and finish through contact with a couple and-1 finishes and others that were just tough finishes at the basket. Smith has advanced ball handling and feel for a prospect of his age as his quickness allowed him to get where he wanted to off the dribble. Smith also created a ton of space on step backs and used those to either his pull-up jumpers or kickout to a teammate. Playing in a program with so much guard talent, Smith will add to the riches that Princeton boasts when he hits the high school ranks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
