One of the top scorers from the Midwest Fall League, Willis can light up the scoreboard in a hurry from long distance. With range that extends well beyond the 3-point line, Willis is a guy you have to cover all over the court. Able to knock down perimeter shots off the dribble or the catch, Willis is a top offensive weapon in the fall league. Willis also showed off his improved left hand, with the ability to attack off the dribble and finish with the ball in his off hand. That improved driving and finishing ability could be incredibly useful as Willis looks to help out the top 2028 backcourt duo in Ohio.

Selke ran the floor well and usually beat the opposing bigs down the court for easy layup finishes. With good size on the interior, Selke was a mismatch in the paint and did a nice job crashing the offensive glass. Selke also showed his ability to space the floor with a time and space 3-pointer. His team cruised to a morning victory and Selke was a big part of that effort.

The thing I look for with freshman playing against older competition is confidence and Roberts certainly didn't lack for confidence on Sunday morning. Knocking down three 3-pointers in a row from the corner in the second half, Roberts was getting buckets off the catch! Roberts mostly played off the catch, which allowed him to take high quality shots on balance and shoot a high percentage from the field. Roberts looks like a player who will make a nice varsity contribution for Alter as an upperclassmen if he continues to put in the work.

A second time Ruschau is mentioned as a standout performer during the fall league, he once again was productive on the interior as the spin move was something he went to early and often to score in the paint. Rusachau also had a steal that led to a breakaway layup as he puts nice spin on his layups at the rim. One of the more productive players in the fall league, Russchau has impressed the last couple of weeks.

Another freshman making noise in the high school division, Neumann is another GCL athlete as well. Despite the loss for his team, I was impressed with Neumann's performance as he was patient with the ball in his hands, scored in tight spaces and found open teammates with passes. Neumann showed impressive footwork as well, pivoting to create the space to shoot or pass it to a teammate. Neumann is getting quality experience against older competition in the fall league and holding his own out there.
