[player_tooltip player_id='2477281' first='DJ' last='Hunter'] is atop the 2029 rankings right now. He is an incredibly skilled point guard who utilizes his scoring prowess, speed, and intensity to be a playmaker. On offense, he attacks gaps with purpose and doesn't need much of a window to weave his way to the basket. He also gets to his jump shot efficiently and splashes in shots from downtown. In addition to his ability to go for 20+, he makes quality drop off passes to his bigs and will find his fellow shooters. While on defense, Hunter can be fairly sneaky. Allowing him to collect steals and make deflections. Expect his name to be in the conversation for one of the best players in 4A this year.

Brevyn Johnson remains in the #2 slot after the latest update. He is arguably one of the most athletic 2029 guards on the West Coast, and that attribute alone gives him tremendous upside as a prospect. Johnson will likely be tasked with playing stout defense for the Gaels this season, and he should be able to get into passing lanes on a regular basis. He also figures to rack up some blocks along the way, and he's a guard who should collect a decent amount of boards. On the other end of the court, the sophomore has the burst to go right at his matchup, which could help the Gaels keep opposing defenses honest.

[player_tooltip player_id='2624906' first='Damari' last='Sawall'] has climbed up to the #3 spot. He's been very consistent with his production for quite some time now, and he can really get a bucket on anybody. His wiggle, footwork, and IQ are tools that he leverages frequently to get to where he wants to go. And he has been showing even more development with his perimeter shooting. Not to mention how he'll get to the charity stripe and add more points there. Beyond his stellar play on offense, he stays focused on defense and his energy his evident. Bottom line, don't sleep on him and the Knights this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='3243670' first='Jake' last='Bunyan'] is currently the highest-ranked forward/center. The Losee big man is a prospect who frequently makes his presence felt in the paint thanks to his stature, strength, and activity. He does a ton of damage from the block, and I think we'll see him throw down even more dunks during his sophomore campaign. Defensively, Bunyan clogs up the paint and is sure to make opposing guards hesitate when attacking the basket. He's also capable of blocking shots and gathering boards at a high rate. Look for him to be a key contributor for the Lions night in and night out.

In the #5 spot, we have [player_tooltip player_id='3243647' first='Nya'Vari' last='Floyd-Johnson'] (pictured). I wrote about him recently due to his explosiveness and feel for the game. He is a very tough guard to slow down once he picks up some steam, and there are times when he's nearly impossible to stop. He also uses his court vision to help facilitate the offense, and I think we'll see him take strides as a game manager this year. Floyd-Johnson should also be a notable contributor on defense, and it'll be intriguing to see how he continues to expand his skill set over the next few months.
