The Expo: Minnesota Team 23 and Team 24 Evaluations

[player_tooltip player_id='2569252' first='Langston' last='Huffman'] is a six-foot 2027 guard from Concordia that when getting the ball in this 5v5 match-up started making shots, and difficult shots. Huffman eventually knocked down six 3-pointers including a game winner. After averaging 23 a game as a junior Huffman looks ready to fill up the scoring sheet. Huffman hit a spot-up corner 3, catch and shoot on the move above the break 3-pointer, pull-up wing 3-pointer and a couple off the dribble tough contested 3-pointers.    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/streethistory/status/2104290695263703282 </div></figure>    [player_tooltip player_id='2560485' first='Jackson' last='Vargas'] is a six-foot-six-inch 2028 Rogers forward that played with [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] Elite. Vargas is a very good spot-up jump shooter from beyond the 3-point arc and has a very quick high point release. Vargas's 3-point rate this season playing AAU was incredibly high along with is shooting percentage. Vargas's size enables him to defend inside and he can be an average rebounder.     [player_tooltip player_id='2858798' first='Jake' last='Kreklow'] is a six-foot-six-inch 2028 forward from Buffalo. Kreklow has solid overall skill and runs the floor well for a forward. Kreklow seems to be progressing nicely as a player since I saw him last time at the Sophomore ID Camp. Size being his biggest advantage along with being a good 3-pointer shooter.     [player_tooltip player_id='2879718' first='Omar' last='Ali'] is a 2027 six-foot-nine-inch center from DeLaSalle and played with [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] P32. Ali is a big presence in the middle, a player that takes up a lot of space. Ali can finish over defenders with his size and length, and does well on short-range shots when he keeps the ball high.     [player_tooltip player_id='2849227' first='Austin' last='Smock'] is a six-foot 2028 guard from Eastview and plays for [program_tooltip program_id='2075681' first='Minnesota' last='Magic'] (now NeverSleepsAthletics). On two separate possessions in the 5v5 game Smock squared up an offensive opponent defensively and ripped the ball from them and took it the distance for smooth sailing lay-ups. Smock is ready to make an impact at Eastview this season after being named one of the Varsity captains.     [player_tooltip player_id='2834228' first='Justin' last='Ebbers'] is a six-foot-four-inch 2027 wing from Park and played AAU with Elevate Skills. Ebbers moves well without the ball cutting from the perimeter to the basket often and always ready to receive passes for lay-ups. Ebbers size gives him a solid advantage rebounding and he can be a secondary ball handler and at times creator. Ebbers exhibits good shooting ability from the perimeter, especially on spot-ups.   Offers: UW-Superior, North Central University, St. Scholastica, Bethel     [player_tooltip player_id='2831701' first='Oliver' last='Villalobos'] is a six-foot 2028 Lakeville South and [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] guard that made a couple plays with the ball in his hands during this 5v5 game. Villalobos is a left-handed shooter who makes drives going to his right, drove right past a defender and finished a lay-up at the rim while getting fouled. In transition Bailey drove right through traffic for a score. On a loose ball scramble Villalobos grabbed the ball and sank a pull-up 3-pointer.
