<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The small forward position is one of the most intriguing ones to analyze because of how much the game has changed over the last 10-15 years alone. Players in this spot provide versatility, can play positionless basketball, and provide a lot of mis match sequences on the floor. Here we will breakdown several prospects in this position who caught our attention from the 2030 class. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["3587102"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_player_featured_image":3732964,"_player_evaluations_0_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6a9c8dfbb242d"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Nunnink showed tough defensive instincts with taking a charge and generating a couple steals in the teams 2nd game of the day. He turned those types of plays into offensive opportunities quickly which led to buckets. In the transition game, Nunnink runs the floor hard and converts efficiently around the basket. His feel also shows in the ½ court setting or in BLOB actions recognizing space and cutting to open windows.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["3628551"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_player_featured_image":3732958,"_player_evaluations_0_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6a9c8dfbb248e"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">A 2 or 3 man at this stage who showed solid activity around the basket offensively. I caught King and his Team 6 play in their second game of the day where he showcased perimeter creation and scoring touch at the rim. He knocked down a step back three off the dribble and secured multiple offensive rebounds for put back conversions. King also displayed body control and balance on a tough finish navigating through the lane on the break for a tough finish.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["2830696"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6a9c8dfbb24d7"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Shows plus length for age at this time and used it effectively as a finisher around the basket in the team's 2nd game of the day. Pugh converted on a tough lay-in underneath from a drop off in heavy traffic and then ran the floor well on the next possession for a breakaway bucket. His toughness stood out multiple times absorbing contact and finishing for an and1. Pugh brings intriguing features to the game with his size and activity while impacting both sides of the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["2948495"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6a9c8dfbb251b"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Another Benet Academy 2030 prospect that was ahead of the curve today in many aspects. Had the opportunity to get a glimpse of Rydberg last fall at this event where he was one of the only 8th graders playing at the freshman showcase and did very well. Today he was one of the most impressive in terms of the way he processed the game and operated on the wing position. He has plus positional size for a 3 man and used his length to impact from inside and out. In the rebounding department he got it done on both sides while pushing for pace off defensive boards. He adds a lot of value in the transition game while being able to be positionless at this stage in the primary break setting. Rydberg has confidence from beyond the arc while knocking down multiple 3's in the team's 3rd game of the day. On the defensive end, he uses his length to get into passing lanes and showed he had a motor to guard grinding out stops. Overall Rydberg was one of the most if not the most intriguing 2030 players in the gym today with a high ceiling to go.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["3722807"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_player_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6a9c8dfbb255c"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Thomas brings tangible assets to the floor and brought an aggressive mindset offensively. He has solid length for age and fills mostly the 2 or 3 position as an off guard at this stage. In the team's 3rd game of the day he ran the floor adequately for transition lay ins and showed finishing touch underneath being available for drop offs or dishes. Thomas also stretched the defense out at times knocking down a couple of 3's off the catch within rhythm of the offense. His assertiveness and size provides intriguing versatility to build upon. A Chicago Dyett prospect that will turn some heads through high school career. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
