He has fully embraced the point guard role at Chaparral but this season Spears brings even more value with his ability to run the offense while remaining a dangerous scorer from all three levels. With two other proven scorers around him, this season is his chance to turn summer momentum into a season that demands even more attention     Washington has taken a clear step forward, and the biggest difference is how much more he controls the game. For Rangeview he looks ready to embrace a larger role and play with the confidence of a true lead guard. He consistently puts pressure on defenses, gets downhill, creates his own shot and can knock down threes when defenders go under. His pick-and-roll game has become a major weapon as he reads the floor, makes the right decision and finds ways to get himself or a teammate an advantage. The pieces are coming together quickly, and Washington has the tools to make a serious impact for his team this season     Kalimba has made a strong case for a significant rise in our recent rankings, and there's real excitement around what he can become this season. At 6'3”, he brings size, versatility and athleticism to the combo guard spot, but it's his aggressive approach and pace that really stand out. He can knock down threes, explode off the bounce and make sharp reads as a passer, constantly putting pressure on a defense. He has the skill set to impact games in multiple ways and the confidence to attack every opportunity. With a bigger role at Eaglecrest ahead, Kalimba has a chance to make a major statement and prove this ranking rise is only the beginning     Walkowiak followed up a strong sophomore season by putting together a summer that showed just how complete his offensive game can become. He's a smooth, confident ball handler who can beat defenders off the bounce, create separation and finish with purpose around the basket. The biggest jump came from beyond the arc, where he showed real growth as a three point shooter and added another layer to his overall offensive package. He can score, create and make plays for those around him, giving ThunderRidge a player capable of carrying a major offensive load. Now, they need Walkowiak to step into that role and make it his     Egbuji put together the kind of summer that makes you take notice, especially with what it could mean for Fossil Ridge this season. He's at his best when he uses his size and physicality to dominate around the basket, impacting the game as a scorer, rebounder and defensive presence. What makes his recent rise even more intriguing is the added perimeter dimension he showed, knocking down midrange shots and stepping out confidently for threes. That combination gives him multiple ways to control a game and makes him a difficult matchup. If Egbuji carries that expanded offensive game into the season he is a legitimate difference maker leading the way for his teammates     Kabongo made one of the biggest jumps in our recent rankings after putting together a summer that demanded attention. He emerged as a dangerous scorer and aggressive downhill attacker, consistently creating his own offense in isolation by breaking defenders down, getting into the paint and finishing at the rim. His confidence with the ball has taken a major step forward, while his willingness to battle for rebounds and help initiate the offense adds even more value. The growth in his scoring package is what really pushed him up our board, and now we're expecting him to carry that momentum into the season with Grandview and make an even bigger statement
