We're holding off on officially ranking the Class of 2030 for now, giving these young players the chance to make their mark during their freshman seasons. From what we saw this summer there's already plenty of reason to pay attention to this class. Several of these names showed enough talent, versatility and upside that, if we were ranking the class today, they would more than likely find themselves inside our Top 25. Now it's time to see who carries that summer momentum into the season and starts making an even bigger name for themselves.

Rosenburg was one of those young players who kept catching our eye throughout the summer, and now we're ready to see what he brings to his freshman season. He plays with a great feel for the game, makes smart decisions with the ball and stays aggressive when opportunities open up. He's quick, changes speeds well and can attack defenders off the bounce. What really raises the ceiling is his ability to score from anywhere on the floor. The flashes we saw this summer point to a freshman with serious upside, and if he continues building on those tools, Rosenburg could emerge as a name to know very quickly

Fox gave us plenty to like throughout the summer because he showed he can impact a game in a number of ways. There were stretches where he could take over as a scorer, but he was just as comfortable shifting into playmaker mode and running the offense. He thrives in transition, makes things happen with the ball in his hands and brings real value on the defensive end. That versatility is what stands out most when you see him in person. Fox doesn't need the game to come to him as he can find ways to influence it, and that makes him a player we'll be watching closely this season

Paligo gave us a great look at what a true big can bring to the floor. He was a handful down low all summer, showing strong footwork and technique with a knack for finishing around the rim. He plays with plenty of toughness, consistently battles for position, boxes out and goes after rebounds. On the defensive end he protects the paint, challenges shots and can erase mistakes with his ability to block shots. Add in his size and the fact that he's still growing into his frame, and there's plenty of upside here. Paligo looks like a big with a lot of room to become an even bigger problem

Romanovsky might have been one of the most intriguing players we watched all summer. He plays with a fierceness and competitive edge that immediately stands out and that energy has a way of lifting everyone around him. As a guard he understands exactly what to do with the ball in his hands, attacking off the dribble and finishing extremely well around the basket. For us it's the defensive end is where he really makes his presence felt. He picks up full court, applies relentless pressure and constantly forces opponents into rushed decisions and turnovers. With that kind of motor and edge, we're excited to see how much his game continues to grow and what he brings to his freshman campaign

Gutierrez may be one of the more intriguing prospects we saw all summer, and it starts with the physical tools he brings to the floor. He has great size and length, but what really caught our attention was his ability to shoot the ball. He showed legitimate range from deep while also displaying a smooth mid range game that gives him multiple ways to score. The next step is becoming more comfortable using his size inside, establishing position and making his presence felt around the basket. If that part of his game continues to come along, Gutierrez has a tremendous ceiling and could be a major name to watch as his game develops

Mursal was one of the players who really stood out to us this summer, showing an offensive game that should translate well into his freshman season. He's a smooth three level scorer who can knock down shots, attack off the bounce and find ways to keep the scoreboard moving. When defenses start focusing more attention on him, he did a nice job finding teammates and making plays for others. That ability to score and create gives him plenty to work with. We're looking forward to seeing how he continues to grow and how his offensive game carries over once the season gets underway
