Six Prospects to Watch at The Expo - Part One

We put a lot of time into promoting our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase and the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp because they are so important for early exposure and always attract so many talented prospects. However, in terms of actually translating to playing basketball at the collegiate level, The Expo is our most important event. This is where there will all actually be college coaches in attendance and even more paying attention to what we write and release after the fact. For Class of 2027 and Class of 2028 prospects that are serious about playing at the next level this is one of the best events you can attend this fall. Bridgeman Jr. is an explosive leaper that allows him to rebound at a high level, block shots defensively, and finish above the rim offensively. He is also very fluid running the floor and can play from the mid-range as a scorer. We are anxious to evaluate the rising senior prospect from South Bend Washington High School at The Expo. He is one that will help get college coaches in the door.     After putting up some massive numbers during his junior season at South Dearborn High School, we had the chance to see Gray play in a couple of different All-Star game settings this summer. He is definitely talented as a playmaker with the ball in his hands. Small college coaches should be watching him heading into his senior season at The Expo will provide an excellent evaluation opportunity in September.     This 6'5" forward from South Ripley High School always plays with such a tremendous motor. He is a great rebounder, versatile defender, and capable scorer both in the paint and as a right-hand driver, but the effort is what consistently stands out. We are excited to have him be a part of The Expo. Gunter is one of a few very talented prospects in South Ripley's Class of 2028.     Hartman was a key rotation piece as a sophomore for a very good Triton Central High School team, but could see an explosion in terms of offensive production as a junior. He will be in more of a go-to role with a lot of points to recover from graduation. The 6'3" guard had an excellent spring and summer playing up with [player_tooltip player_id='2860120' first='Midwest' last='Stars'] 17u where he showed off his ability to score in bunches at times. He is a potential breakout candidate this coming season and is a Class of 2028 prospect to watch at The Expo.     Big men are always in style and this 6'7" center from Carroll (Fort Wayne) High School checks the boxes in terms of size. He is a guy who continues to get better and is developing into a consistent two-way threat at the rim. We've seen Murphy flash the ability of finish with both hands inside and is really improving as a rebounder and shot blocker. Look for him to step into a larger role as a junior. We are excited to evaluate him further at The Expo.     Paris is coming off of back-to-back very productive seasons for Tri-West High School. That should obviously be true once again as a senior. However, he really played his way onto the radar as a potential college prospect this summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2559412' first='Marlin' last='Academy'] (P32) 17u. His team had a lot of success and he was a big reason why. The 6'2" guard is so physical off of the dribble and a very strong finisher at the end of his drives. Paris is a proven three-point shooter as well. We think small college coaches will want to get eyes on him at The Expo.
