About Scout

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game is fast. Taking advantage of my speed & quickness. Am hoping these next 2 seasons will showcase my speed. I have been a Varsity Player since I entered my 8th grade summer going into my 9th grade year. Our past 2 seasons the style of play has been a bit slow. Our next 2 seasons should truly showcase our team speed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a blue collar bring my lunch bucket to practice & games. I will outwork anyone on or off the court. I’m that true student athlete, with my eye on the future. Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in Student Government as well as playing the piano & taking Spanish as well. Sort of non-sport award I am very proud of was my selection on the All-Conference Academic Team as well.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a starter on the Varsity level from the 9th grade on, I think has given me an edge over most 2027 pg in the country. Also, my freshman year in track I found myself competing as a varsity runner as well as a conference champion.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I just so happen to be going through one of the toughest challenges to date. I dislocated my right elbow this past spring, playing out west on the Adidas Gold Circuit.

What type of college are you looking for?

I currently qualify for a 21st Century Scholarship, this will pay for my school and book fees. If I have an opportunity for a D-1 scholarship at Notre Dame,Butler, Indiana University, Purdue, Indiana State University. Or, really any other full or partial scholarship in my home state.

The numbers that his 6’1″ guard has put up at South Dearborn High School would certainly catch your attention. However, it was good to see his production translate to a pretty high level of competition at the Indiana All-Star Classic. The athletic guard proved comfortable playing both on and off of the ball in varying roles as a scorer and playmaker. He finished with 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in the game.

Gray is very quick with the ball in his hands, sees the floor well, and can make quick decisions from a live dribble. Whether he is setting up his teammates or creating a shot for himself, Gray is talented on offensive end of the floor. The 5’11” guard averaged 12.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game for South Dearborn this season.
