Carpenter looked comfortable from 3 land as well while utilizing ball screens, changing speeds, and creating separation. Vision wise he saw the floor one play ahead of the defense and created numerous transition opportunities for himself and teammates. He placed a well timed lob for an alley-oop on one play and was noticeably bouncy himself elevating above the rim to finish throughout the day as well. His athleticism showed throughout with finishing multiple transition breakaway dunks and filling the open lane lines. Defensively he moves his feet quickly for positional size and has sound hands that compliment as well.
