Ohio Freshman Showcase: Team 6 Standouts

Bihiga was one of the more aggressive players at the camp as he was confident attacking the basket and went hard after loose balls. Bihiga had some strong rebounds as well despite being one of the shorter guards at the camp. The rising freshman guard also knocked down some time and space jumpers, as he is not a guy you want to leave open from long range. An off ball guard, Weinandy played well as a spot-up shooter or attacking closeouts by using the threat of his shot to pump fake and drive to the rim. Stowers was getting downhill when he wanted with the ball in his hands, as the defense found it very difficult to stay in front of him at the point of attack. Stowers was making nice moves in isolation and shooting a high percentage when he got to the paint. Stowers also played some tough on ball defense, making it hard for opposing guards to get around him. Dhakal knocked down some deep 3-pointers, hit some mid-range shots off the dribble, filled lanes in transition to score at the rim and drove past defenders on the perimeter. Being able to show a variety of offensive skills impressed me. On the defensive end of the court, Dhakal had a help-side block as he has nice length for a wing guard. With Reynoldsburg having so many moving pieces, minutes are there for the taking at the varsity and JV level this winter and Dhakal should be able to find a spot to contribute for the Raiders as a freshman.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
