Returning for another summer, New Jersey Legacy Basketball once again brought together a strong group of North Jersey prospects for its annual team camp, featuring multi day competition between programs and providing some of the state's talent with an opportunity to showcase their skill sets. Hosted at Weequahic High School in Newark, NJ, this year's New Jersey Legacy Team Camp offered an early look at players adjusting to new programs following offseason transfers as well as those preparing to take on expanded roles this winter, providing a valuable glimpse at several prospects poised to make an impact during the upcoming season. With that in mind, here are some of the players who stood out during the second session of New Jersey Legacy's Team Camp late last week.

[player_tooltip player_id='2509329' first='Ashton' last='Graves'] is an ultra aggressive downhill attacker who is always in constant pursuit of putting the pressure on the rim, in any way he can. And transition is where Graves sought out a lot of those opportunities— turning forced turnovers as a result of intense defensive pressure into explosive above the rim finishes, sprinting the lanes and getting ahead of the defense for easy finishes at the basket, and even initiating the break off long rebounds before the defense was able to get all the way back for tough in traffic finishes. A part of his game that's remained pivotal to his long term outlook and been heavily observed over the last several months has been his outside shooting— where throughout this showing he showed some strides in that area of his development, more particularly in his consistency and being a more efficient perimeter shooter off the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='2966035' first='Kaden' last='Aiken'] remained a force on the interior, showcasing the instincts and physical tools behind his efficient production around the rim. Rebounding is where it all started for Aiken— where his rebounding numbers featured a mixture of securing possessions on the defensive end coupled with tip ins and generating second chance possessions on the offensive glass. Continuing to demonstrate an ability to make a significant impact without requiring a high volume of touches, Aiken offered value as a finisher in different offensive actions while also not letting his production take a dip on the defensive end of the floor and contesting shot attempts with discipline and length at the point of attack at the rim.

At his best and once again proving to be most impactful as a complimentary guard as a floor spacing perimeter shot maker, [player_tooltip player_id='2986578' first='Emmanuel' last='Pierre-Louis'] was most effective as a spot up shooter that capitalized off a number of open looks— showcasing confidence and efficiency as a spot up shooter from the perimeter and taking advantage of several open looks created by crisp ball movement on ball reversals and dribble penetration while also capitalizing on late closeouts from the opposing defense.

After primarily serving as quality depth piece amongst a deep rotation of guards just a season ago, [player_tooltip player_id='2884517' first='Dallas' last='Baldwin'] looks to be in line to take on a larger role that features increased responsibility this winter as this St. Peter's works to fill a lot of the offensive void left by last season's graduates. Baldwin is on the heels of a terrific spring and summer that saw him emerge as a leading scorer and facilitator for his NY Lightning 15U EYBL team and if his showing late last week is a reflection of the momentum he's generating heading into his sophomore season, then he definitely will be a name to keep a close eye on and what his impact could look like with a greater workload— confidence and efficiency as a perimeter shooter while mixing in some crafty finishes around the basket when exploiting driving angles coupled with the court vision to thread passes to open teammates as a distributor.

Establishing himself as a highly dangerous perimeter shooting threat pairing compact shooting mechanics with the green light to shoot it whenever he sees a sliver of open space, [player_tooltip player_id='3719753' first='Chase' last='Wiedler'] demonstrated how his lethal shooting ability from beyond the arc drives his offensive value. Wiedler impressed not only in the percentages he shot the three ball with, settling into a nice rhythm and burying open look after open look off the catch, but also the aggression he hunted his shot with, reading driving angles off penetrating guards and constantly relocating into passing windows off the ball.
