More Oklahoma Transfers To Watch This Season

The Oklahoma high school basketball landscape looks much different than it did just a few months ago. With offseason transfers, reclassifications, and new opportunities across the state, several players are set to make immediate impacts in new uniforms. Here are some more of the most impactful transfers to know heading into the 2026-27 season.    After an impressive sophomore season at 4A Woodward, [player_tooltip player_id='2638586' first='Kadon' last='Gaines'] will make the move to BII Vici, where he should immediately make an impact. Gaines had a strong summer with AB Elite on the EYBL circuit, showcasing his game against high-level competition. He has already picked up a Division II offer, but his stock should continue to rise with another strong high school season.   Gaines brings great size and a versatile skill set to the floor. He can create with combos and size-ups, operate out of the post, space the floor and knock down shots with a quick release. He is also an impressive athlete who runs the floor exceptionally well, finishes above the rim and can make an impact defensively as a shot blocker. His ability to make reads and find teammates adds another dimension to his game, making him a player that should be on every radar this season.     After previously playing at Class A Mooreland, [player_tooltip player_id='2831751' first='Wyatt' last='VanZee'] will make the move to BII Vici as a great addition to the backcourt. He will provide as another capable creator who can help generate opportunities for teammates, while also having the ability to take on a larger scoring role himself. His ability to handle the ball and create offense should give Vici another reliable option on the perimeter.   VanZee is a crafty guard who does a great job creating separation and connecting from deep range. He keeps the ball under control, facilitates well and has the ability to drive through traffic. His combination of ball control, shot-making and playmaking should make him a valuable piece of Vici's squad.     Previously at 6A U.S. Grant, [player_tooltip player_id='2400905' first='Marcus' last='Lee'] II will make the move to 3A Millwood, giving the Falcons a major addition in the backcourt. After losing several players to transfers, Millwood will have a big opportunity to reshape its roster. Lee has already shown this summer with Pro Vision and YPG that he is more than capable of taking on a leading role. He got his summer off to a strong start, averaging more than 25 points per game at a NXTPRO session in Norman.   Lee is a competitive point guard who can get downhill with ease and use his quickness to get past defenders. He creates separation well, finds the open man and has a knack for picking the pocket for steals on the defensive end. He also brings plenty of athleticism, including the ability to finish above the rim. With his scoring, playmaking and competitive edge, Lee could be a major piece in Millwood's push to get back to its winning ways.     Previously at Northside in Arkansas, [player_tooltip player_id='2403967' first='Jayvyn' last='Bullock'] will follow summer coach Tylor Perry to Poteau after putting together a tremendous summer that earned himself a Division I offer. At 6'5, he brings plenty of size, intensity and athleticism to the floor. He has proven he can impact the game on both ends. He was a consistent highlight performer throughout the summer, including averaging nearly 19 points and 10 rebounds per game during Session 3 of P32.   An elite scorer and defender, Bullock showed his ability to take over games with high-20-point performances at Northside last season before carrying that production into the summer. His combination of size, scoring ability and defensive intensity gives Poteau a high-level addition, and he should have no trouble making a name for himself as one of the best players in 4A.     Previously at 3A Rejoice Christian, [player_tooltip player_id='2550799' first='Hunter' last='Rowland'] will now join the reigning 3A state champions at Cascia Hall. The move creates an intriguing storyline if the two teams meet during the season, as Rowland could potentially face his former squad. At 6'6, Rowland brings added size and length to the Commandos while giving them another capable wing on both ends of the floor.   Rowland's shooting ability and defensive versatility should make him a valuable addition to Cascia Hall's championship roster. He will provide quality depth and another option on the wing, giving the Commandos some additional insurance as they look to defend their state title. With his size and two-way potential, Rowland could become an important piece for Cascia Hall throughout the season.
