Allen arrived at the showcase as a physically mature prospect. He runs the floor well and finishes strong at the rim. He is comfortable playing a physical game, but also shows touch around the basket. Inside or outside, he competed and made plays throughout the day. He currently has the bulk and mentality of a next level prospect. The rest should come in time.

Sears established himself as one of the better shooters at the event. When his feet are set, he shoots the ball at a high percentage. He works hard on both sides of the ball, showing the traits of a next-level "3-and-D" player. He is a high upside player that is off to a great high school start.

Smith is an active guard who is at his best when attacking the goal. He uses a steady handle to shift defenders and gain an offensive advantage. He has good size and is strong enough to finish through contact at the rim. Parkway has a fairly young group and Smith could put some pressure on upperclassman for Varsity minutes.

Harper has a long, muscular frame, providing a solid physical foundation. He is comfortable on the court and has a developing mid-range shot. His game is already polished and he looks like a varsity-ready player who can make an impact this season. Already familiar with his game from the summer, he has all of the tools to be a next level prospect.

Bohanon was a quick first selection as a standout for several reasons. He is a smooth operator on the court with a nice stroke from the field. He is a high-IQ player who already has good height and long arms. He is comfortable on the court and plays the game with his head up, making him effective as both a scorer and a facilitator. His early minutes at Bossier could be as a shooting specialist, but as he grows, his role will surely expand.

The common denominator among this group of standouts is their readiness to contribute to winning varsity basketball. Whether it is Bohanon's high-IQ playmaking, Sears' perimeter shooting, or the physical tools displayed by Allen, Smith, and Harper, these prospects possess the foundational skills that translate directly to the next level. As the winter season approaches, expect these five freshmen to quickly find their footing and carve out meaningful roles within their respective high school programs.
