Derek Allen Derek Allen 5'11" | PG/SG Central Private | 2030 LA made a strong impression this summer with his mature build and solid fundamental game. Central Private has not traditionally been known as a basketball powerhouse, but Allen and several other key pieces could help make this group a tougher opponent.

Allen’s development as a lead guard will be an important storyline to follow. With his physical maturity and understanding of the game, he has an opportunity to make an impact at the varsity level during his freshman campaign. Keep an eye on Allen as the season gets underway.

Allen arrived at the showcase as a physically mature prospect. He runs the floor well and finishes strong at the rim.
