EYBL 2029s Set to Shine as Sophomores

The jump from freshman to sophomore year is often when players begin to separate themselves, and several prospects from the 2029 class appear ready to do just that. After gaining valuable experience against high-level competition on the EYBL circuit, these players enter the season with bigger roles and an opportunity to establish themselves as names to know.    Hendy is a strong wing that is able to get himself to the rim or hit shots in the mid-range dependably. Playing on City Rocks E15 team, Hendy finished first in rebounding and third in scoring for his team. His physicality and ability to get his own offense will allow him to be a Section II standout in his second season.     A long and rangy wing, Hill popped this Spring as one of two 2029s who made the most of their time when Expressions played them up. He's been able to shoot it for years, but the evolution of his floor game and overall growth is was really stood out. On the younger side of the class, don't be surprised if Hill ends up being a real riser in the coming years.     From May on, Baldwin evolved into the go-to scorer for a NY Lightning unit that was competitive all year long. A quick and crafty lead guard who excelled at getting his own shot and putting up points on all three levels, he is set up to step into a bigger role at St. Peter's this season.     A high level athlete, Scott is just starting to scratch the surface of his considerable potential. He is a capable scorer inside the arc and really thrives finishing at the rim. As he gets stronger and refines his game his potential is sky high.     Rudanovic quietly had an awesome freshman season at Colonia and carried that momentum into the Spring and Summer. An ideal fit for the modern game, Rudanovic is a gritty finisher inside who is capable of protecting the rim defensively and spacing the floor as a shooter. With his size and fluidity, it appears to be the foundation for what should be an equally impressive sophomore campaign.     Another player on this list who's best ball lays well ahead of him, Seitz has taken his game to another level since the winter, showcasing more of an offensive game while remaining one of the best rebounders and the best shot blocker on the team. The rapidly improving big man will have every opportunity to have a big sophomore season.     One of the truly elite prospects in the Tri-State area in the class of 2029, Postell has hit almost every marker in his early career. The rangy guard is one hell of a defender, getting into passing lanes and forcing turnovers before converting the other way. Offensively, he's capable of putting up points in bunches and can score on all three levels. He will have a chance to lead the class wire-to-wire in New Jersey
