CoBL Underclassmen Camp: PA wing and forward standouts

City of Basketball Love held its annual August underclassmen on Friday afternoon at Abington Friends, bringing in over 100 of the top rising freshmen and sophomores from across the Philly tri-state region. Several prospects made their presence felt but these frontcourt prospects from the Keystone State were particularly impressive in our viewing.    One of the more highly-touted post prospects among incoming freshmen across the region, Eaddy showed his reputation is more than warranted with extended stretches of dominance throughout the camp. He was effective setting up shop on the interior, using his powerful frame and massive hands to impose his will on opposing defenders near the rim. Eaddy controlled the boards and also showed signs of a gradually-expanding game on a series of grab-and-go forays off the defensive glass. He figures to be heard from early and often for a Bonner team with eyes on a PCL title and it shouldn't be long before Eaddy is generating D1 attention in Drexel Hill.     Continuing a quiet emergence over the course of the summer, Harris had his considerable talent on full display and showed he could be a due for another bump up in the next round of rankings updates. A versatile wing forward, he was all over the floor on both ends, particularly impressing with his ability to switch across multiple positions defensively given his size, foot speed, and lateral mobility. Harris was effective getting out in transition, highlighted by a smooth Euro-step finish around a defender, and flashed comfort as a standstill shooter out to the perimeter. He's still putting all the pieces together but the foundation is there for Harris to develop into a D1 prospect over time.     One of the more established frontcourt prospects in the class at this early stage, Graves looked plenty comfortable against his peers after a year of testing himself against the best the PCL had to offer. A natural post, he's continued reshaping his body while showing signs of expanding his game out to the perimeter as a dribble-drive threat and playmaking hub. He was effective both in grab-and-go situations in the open floor or navigating through traffic in the halfcourt. Graves is already on D1 radars and could boost his upside even more if he can tack an inch or two onto his frame or show a more consistent perimeter jumper moving forward.     Continuing to look like an X-factor in Prep's quest to rise up the PCL standings, Brown was effective within his role while showcasing his appealing long-term building blocks. The up-and-down nature of camp games suited him perfectly as he was able to beat opposing bigs down the floor and show off his explosiveness on easy finishes around the rim. He was also an energetic rim deterrent with his length and athleticism on the defensive end. He's still in the early stages of adding strength and refining his offensive game in the halfcourt, but as one of the younger 2029's around, looks to have considerable upside to tap into as he stacks days in the years to come.     Still somewhat of an under-the-radar name within the class, Perkins impressed with his versatility over the course of the day. A sturdily-built wing with a well-rounded offensive arsenal, he was effective operating all over the floor with a herky-jerky dribble-drive game and comfortable shooting stroke out to 3. He's not yet the swiftest athlete and doesn't cleanly fit a positional designation but the size and versatility give Perkins a variety of pathways toward long-term success, particularly being on the younger side of his class.     Still working back into shape after time lost to injury over the past several months, Quackenbush wasn't necessarily the most productive but showed flashes of appealing upside with some of the highest-level tools of any prospect in the gym. Blessed with great size, quick feet, and soft hands, he was effective running the floor for early offense or working the baseline for dumpoff opportunities in the halfcourt. Quackenbush was also an enthusiastic presence on the other end as a rebounder and rim deterrent. He's still rounding out the finer points of his game but looks ready to be a piece of the frontcourt rotation for Bonner this winter as he develops into a legitimate scholarship-level prospect.
