[player_tooltip player_id='3580686' first='Julian' last='Gonzalez'] was making an impact on both ends of the court for Pure Hoops on Day 1 of the Tune Up tournament. On offense, he can hit jumpers, get to the line, and he'll drive to the hoop when there's enough of a window. On defense, Gonzalez uses his athleticism and anticipation skills to keep his man in front of him. Plus he had a block. Overall, I like his game and he's a team player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2853757' first='Case' last='Cosme'] (pictured) is a real problem for opposing defenses. The class of 2028 PG is an absolute sniper who converts a majorly his shots from beyond the arc. He was letting it go from well beyond the 3-point line, and many of his makes were clean swishes. He had to have connected on at least four or five triples before the final buzzer sounded. His ability to fill it up helped Pure Hoops build out their leads, and he's also the type of player who will make the extra pass if a teammate has the better opportunity . Although he's not the tallest guy, his impact is significant, and he's a lot of fun to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='2830794' first='Will' last='Claussen'] is an intriguing prospect thanks to his height, speed, and skill. One of his top plays was when he brought the ball up court, utilizing his long strides and handles. He then weaved through traffic and got all the way to the cup. He also had a nice cut and nearly threw down a dunk. Finishing right at the rim. Defensively, he limits opposing forwards production and he can swat shots if he times it right. Expect the wing to keep developing the rest of the summer.

Ryan O'Shea can score in a variety of ways. He knocks down shots from 3-point land, leaks out in transition, and converted a nice give-and-go bucket. His instincts are evident, and he's also a willing passer, swinging the rock to open teammates if they're left unmarked. O'Shea makes his presence felt on the defensive end as well, where he applies consistent ball pressure. Look for his stock to rise sooner rather than later.

[player_tooltip player_id='2842265' first='Gregory' last='Norman'] had 14 points for [program_tooltip program_id='2785912' first='Team' last='FVV'] in their win on Thursday. He pushes the pace in transition and attacks the basket with a full head of steam. He also has some touch once he's in the paint, and he dropped in a number of contested lay-ups. Norman also dished out assists and he didn't give his matchup much room to operate on the defensive end. All in all, he's a reliable contributor and I was a fan of how he competed.

[player_tooltip player_id='2838818' first='Kendric' last='McGhee'] impressed me with his gritty style of play. He isn't afraid to get his hands dirty, diving on the floor for loose balls and frustrating opponents with his lateral quickness on defense. He can also get downhill on offense and absorb contact at the rim. Considering that he's just entering high school, he'll likely continue adding more layers to his game.
