One of the things I always look for at this point in the summer is growth, and these are players that we've seen before that we've been wanting to take a jump, well, now it seems to be coming. Some expanded their games, others embraced bigger roles, and a few simply played with a level of consistency that I hadn't seen before. These are the players who walked away from the PH Tuneup with the most momentum as a stock booster.

Right now is the perfect time to lock in an annual pass and not just a month. We have a 50% off sale live through the weekend!

The code is Fourth50 (not case-sensitive) is good for 50% off the first billing cycle of all annual plans. It makes sense to get an annual pass with all that we have in store this season!

Hoskins is such a fluid athlete, and the thing about him is, he has been one of the top summer performers every single year, which lets me know that there is something with the change of scenery and being the focal point of the offense. For him to be a legit 6'8 forward, he's able to do everything on the floor, which makes him such an interesting prospect. We just don't get to see it a ton during the HS season, and based on what we see in the summer, it's the only reason he might not be a top guy. He's putting the ball on the floor and bringing it up, he's shooting 3-pointers with a smooth shooting stroke, and he's also a high flyer. He had a few dunks through the lane, had some reverse dunks on the baseline, and looked like one of the more complete players on the weekend. I think D3 schools should be going insane on his line.

It feels like we don't get to see much of Justin at all, but when he plays, he's good. This week at PHTuneUpCO, he played with precision. He's decisive with the ball and makes the right reads, he plays within the flow of the offense, and when the offense gets stagnant, he's who alters things and makes plays happen. I like that he makes the extra pass, as that is not something that you see too often in these setting and it becomes contagious. It keeps the defense guessing. He was getting inside the defense, handling the ball in transition, and finishing. He's a player who I feel will have a big season for Legend as he's multi-dimensional and just different than what they have. Another solid outing for him.

Palmer was very aggressive over the weekend, and this was the most that we saw from him in the sense of hunting shots and wanting to score, which paid off for him. Prolific Elite needed some outside shooting, and he provided that as he created for himself off the dribble, moved without the ball, and also showed his range. He also put the ball on the floor and went to the basket at times as well. Palmer found holes in the defense. I like the change that he provides for Prolific as they play with a certain tenacity and edge, and he matches that with his Overland background. He's picking up high on defense, communicating on switches, and showcasing that he could defend multiple positions as well. He's a two-way option with range, and that was on display in multiple games this weekend. He should be on college radars with what we saw from him this week.

Chester was a consistent force for the Rebels this week, as he has good size and shows how versatile he could be. At the event, he showed that he could mix it up and finish inside, as he has a stronger, bigger build, but also can step out and be on the perimeter as well. In their closest game of the event, he hit timely shots and executed late in the game, even coming with a tough and-1 that ultimately won them the game. I also saw him step out and shoot the 3-ball, and he looks like a natural scorer who you can put in any situation. I liked how engaged he looked defensively, and this year, they'll need him to step up on that end of the floor. He's going to have to be the defensive anchor; he'll be asked to take on more of a scoring load as well, so getting chemistry with teammates now can pay dividends throughout the year. Solid outing for him where I feel he boosted his stock.

Mooney just seems to be a standout every single time that we watch him, as he brings so much to the games that I am starting to believe that he's MUCH better than we think. This was another stock-boosting event where he dominated and looked like the Rebels' most complete player, and had stretches where he dominated. He's strong and showed his footwork, he forced mismatches down low and finishes through them, and also had counters where he was spinning off of guys and finishing as well. Quinn plays with an edge and was throwing his weight around on the block. This year, I truly expect him to have some big-time games where he even leads the team to some wins. This was a stock-boosting event for him for sure.
